I think tonight he is perfect in the "patter" department. He is funny and natural. It was not a strength but he has been getting better and better and now has achieved perfect IMHO. I think the awkward naturalness is totally charming and a perfect offset to the vocal masterpiece he puts out there. Excellent point. I think back to GNT and that was so scripted. I went to dozens of shows and I could have done it all for him. Even the beginning of the this tour had some awkward segues -- like a few of the CLTCL ones where Adam even crossed his eyes. Now he is masterful and casual and so funny. The accent part tonight is still cracking me up!  |
