Probably in the minority here, but I Think its time too cool the whole Queen thing for a while. Personally I would be happy if their was no Queen for a while after SA. I know everyone loves the collab, I do too. But I would like to think next year Adam is touring solo, but thats just me. Not just you It appears that Adam can be publicly focused on Q+AL or AL and still keep both moving forward. On the public side it looks mostly like one, not the other. But behind the scene it is truly side-by-side. If he was just doing AL last week, he would have jetted to the UK, then we would have gotten some tweets about cover shots and TOH, a photo or two of Adam leaving a nice hotel, a photo or two of Sauli and a report they boarded a train to Paris. Instead, he did all the promo in the UK for TOH plus he blew people away in a few concerts. *** Now the public focus will shift to AL. And we are certain to at least get some solo TV and radio appearances and performances, Adam is very likely to show up at some to the big radio events. An Adam solo tour? I think that this can only happen after he has a couple new, big hits -- in the US. I expect that will happen but no one knows this will happen. If Adam doesn't have big US hits, I doubt there will be a traditional big tour in North America. Then we are more likely to see him booked for special concert appearances vs. a big tour. Things like the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, San Diego State Fair, big festivals, etc. Whatever happens to TOH, we will get Adam solo concerts -- just the format, size and financial structure will change. I hope that TOH is huge, and with Q+AL Tour success, Adam is catapulted to the top of the Arena Tour circuit! Adam is 33 -- he could be performing and releasing music for 40+ more years. (Look at Tony Bennett -- he's 88.) *** Brian and Roger probably will only perform for a few more years -- Brian will turn 68 this summer. So will they do another tour or the world? Will they do some big special appearances? I expect Queen + Adam Lambert to be a breakout act at Rock In Rio. I expect Q+AL to do some stadium shows. I hope that Brain and Roger (and Queen including Freddie) finally get the recognition they deserve but did not receive during Freddie's lifetime -- like win a Grammy! Most of all, I what to have two side-by-side CD's in my car playing on repeat! TOH and Q+AL LIVE! *** Looks like a win-win to me.

That pic upthread of Neil and Alexander Morner just cracks me up. Neil looks like such an ordinary guy. If you walked past him on the street, you'd nod your head hello and not think much about it. And, there he is, underneath that ordinary guy exterior, a slammin' bass player that just concluded 67 arena filled concerts.

We mentioned/briefly discussed Bradford Cobb here on Atop after the video surfaced. ( I think Q3 confirmed it was him)...Where were you? LOL. But we didn't notice/mention the WBR UK head, Max Lousada...IDT.....so that's interesting.

Jonathan Goldsmith--Who is he? Had to Google him. I changed my vote on Q3's survey. I felt sorry for him with no votes.

Then ending notes on Radio Gaga will never not slay me. *doo wap, another soundtrack of my life* Same here *sigh* ... at first it seemed to me that RG would be just one of those songs...but he has made it his own too and now I cannot imagine it without that "wooooooooooo" ending of his... *sigh*

While we're all wallowing in post-tour blues.... I don't think this has been brought over yet - a multicam by Camiel Boekelaar of the full Amsterdam show. The audio sounds amazing, and the video editing looks great as well (from what I've seen so far, haven't watched the whole thing yet) www.youtube.com/watch?v=d838GSAzLlY&index=1&list=PLVLn7bn3FqZfWpvtZFdFbDul155GNO9BLA side note about post-tour blues: I think a large part of it is due to the fact that we have no *concrete* date to look forward to in the near future. As soon as the single release date is announced, or the date of a public appearance is announced, the blues will vanish. I felt the same way after the 2014 tour when there was that ~month-long period when we had no clue when we'd see Adam next; we just hoped he would surface soon.

The couch (oh...sorry QAL crew guys) I mean 'chase lounge' had to be Adam's idea and probably inserting Killer Queen into the concert catalog too. Boy...it took some balls guts for Adam to go out there and camp it up big with all those Queen macho guys staring at him in the front row! AFL is one fierce performer!! Rock n' Roll Baby! Thanks for the Amsterdam vid(s) Queenofthenight! You're an excellent ninja finding these vids! Looks like I'll put off starting my income taxes till Monday....sigh. I dread that so much every year. That, and starting my annual springtime "diet". I think you're right about a specific release date or appearance date in connection with the single. That will focus our attention/excitement.
