Sorry No Boundaries was a terrible song. The Mountains lol Simon was right. They should of choosen their own song in the final. They earnt it. LOL. I still like it, cheesy lyrics an' all. Love to hear Adam wailing about fjords, valleys, mountains, lakes, inlets, deltas and streams to achieve your impossible dreams. It would've been a hit I tell you!! LOL.

Sorry No Boundaries was a terrible song. The Mountains lol Simon was right. They should of choosen their own song in the final. They earnt it. I am definitely not a fan of that song....and the lyrics are terrible. Note: I agree that Adam's vocal performance and recording are both quite good. But the song does not make any sense to me. It had way to many songwriters involved and they just shoved to much into it. Seconds, hours, so many days You know what you want, but how long can you wait A. Every moment lasts forever when you feel you’ve lost your way What if my chances are already gone Started believing that I could be wrong But you give me one good reason To fight and never walk away
So here I am — still holding on!1. I fought to the limit to stand on the edge What if today is as good as it gets Don't know where the future's heading But nothing's gonna bring me down
2. I've jumped every bridge and I've heard every lie 3. I've risked being safe but I always knew why I always knew why
So here I am - still holding on!
4. With every step you climb another mountain Every breath it's harder to believe You’ll make it through the pain Weather the hurricanes To get to that one thing
5. Just when you think the road is going nowhere Just when you’ve almost gave up on your dreams 6. Then take it by the hand and show you that you can
You can go higher You can go deeper There are no boundaries Above and beneath you 7. Break every rule cause there’s nothing between you and your dreams
A. The song starts out muddled -- with the journey metaphore mixed up with the relationship reference -- and the not giving up a your dreams. It appears that there are just too many ideas shoved into this song. The purple line -- if "nothing's gonna bring me down" then why are you As the song continues, the confusion of the lyrics gets worse. 1. I have no idea what this means. 2. How do you jump a bridge? 3. "I risked being safe and I always knew why" so why are your breaking all the rules (7) later in the song? 4. Now we know the journey to get to that one thing is hard because it involves mountains and hurricanes. 5. Now we are back to the journey metaphor. 6. Take what by the hand? You can what? The person changes inexplicably -- from I to you throughout the song. I highlighted an example in blue italic above. I get the point to shift from the personal to the general but with everything else going on in this song it just adds more confusion. Pop songs rarely include complex shifts in person. The most confounding part to me is in red -- if There are no boundaries Above and beneath you then why do you have to break any rules (7)? **** There are enough lyrics for two pop songs in there and one is quite good. The other involves too many mountains and hurricanes.

Yep. Lyrics are wack but I still like NoBo. LOL.
There's been many a big hit songs with bad lyrics. Shit, now all this talking about NoBo makes me wanna hear it.
You can go higher, you can go deeper....
I'm coming, Adam! [Scampers off to go listen Adam wailing on NoBo.]

I went to youtube to watch this Tracks Of My Tears performance tonight on Idol since Adam had done that tender heartfelt version on Idol his season....sorry I thought this one tonight wasn't performed very well. www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/american-idol-top-8-guys-779358The Hollywood Reporter 'American Idol': Top 8 Guys Compete for Motown Supremacy6:20 PM PST 3/4/2015 by Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya (Adam mention)One of this season’s mentors, Scott Borchetta, gives the next contestant his stamp of approval. Clark Beckham accompanies himself on the electric guitar as he sings “The Tracks of My Tears” by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. It’s not quite as memorable as Adam Lambert’s performance of the same song back in season eight. But as Borchetta points out, Beckham has one of the best voices in the competition. He just needs to loosen up on stage a bit more, as Lopez advises.

There is a difference between liking NoBo and it being THE favorite Adam song. oh, ITA. That was a stream of consciousness comment. Nothing to do with polling, sorry to put a ripple in your favourite song post. I have so many Adam songs I like more that NoBo!! I was happy to see Aftermath get 9%

I was happy to see Aftermath get 9% Ooh, ooh. Remember when lots of folks didn't like Aftermath and I used post about loving it? I always went... in the Aftermaaaaath!! Then Adam performed it a few times and people began loving it. Same deal with NoBo. Had he prevailed and got to perform the winning ditty repeatedly, y'all would be begging him to sing NoBo. BEGGING!!!! LOL. If memory serves, I believe Adam said he could've done some things with NoBo if he had more time. (Kara needs to now pay me handsomely for defending her crappy song.) LOL

http://instagr.am/p/yf30B-Kw0P I don't know if this was ever posted here - I posted it today in the Queen news thread and it was suggested I post it here as well...looks like it was from Amsterdam and it's Adam, Rufus, Sarina (Roger's wife), Roger and Jonathan Oliver
