Are there any more nominations for THE BEST WWTLF of the European tour? Only two have been proposed; by queenofthenight and by me, back on page one. They are wonderful versions, but, surely y'all have others you would like to be considered? Late entry... youtu.be/3ETsSABmAgo |

Sorry No Boundaries was a terrible song. The Mountains lol Simon was right. They should of choosen their own song in the final. They earnt it. I am definitely not a fan of that song....and the lyrics are terrible. Note: I agree that Adam's vocal performance and recording are both quite good. But the song does not make any sense to me. It had way to many songwriters involved and they just shoved to much into it. Seconds, hours, so many days

A. The song starts out muddled -- with the journey metaphore mixed up with the relationship reference -- and the not giving up a your dreams. It appears that there are just too many ideas shoved into this song. The purple line -- if "nothing's gonna bring me down" then why are you As the song continues, the confusion of the lyrics gets worse. 1. I have no idea what this means. 2. How do you jump a bridge? 3. "I risked being safe and I always knew why" so why are your breaking all the rules (7) later in the song? 4. Now we know the journey to get to that one thing is hard because it involves mountains and hurricanes. 5. Now we are back to the journey metaphor. 6. Take what by the hand? You can what? The person changes inexplicably -- from I to you throughout the song. I highlighted an example in blue italic above. I get the point to shift from the personal to the general but with everything else going on in this song it just adds more confusion. Pop songs rarely include complex shifts in person. The most confounding part to me is in red -- if There are no boundaries Above and beneath you then why do you have to break any rules (7)? **** There are enough lyrics for two pop songs in there and one is quite good. The other involves too many mountains and hurricanes. I'm not a fan of NB, but these lyrics make a LOT more sense to me than many songs--and I do read a fair number of lyrics. I think your critique is looking for a very literal interpretation of the song. The switch from YOU to I is perfectly fine. It's the ubiquitous YOU as in " you can get hamburger at the supermarket." Which means everyone: " you and I can get hamburger . . . ." The song is overly dramatic for me. |

All the glory notes in the spots I love, an interesting change on the first "ooooo", an interesting camera angle. My only complaint is the feed back in the sound. Still, a serious contender. |

I was really sad to see Sleepwalker win. Really would have thought fans would have voted for a song he wrote! :( I voted for Trespassing because I figured it had a better chance than Aftermath. I voted for the song I love the most! If I was voting strategically, I would have joined you with Trespassing. Ha, ha! I always vote "strategically" for anything!  |

Cassie, I saved this one. I love the little run he does at :25 and the women saying "wow". The sound is very good too. Queen & Adam Lambert WWTLF front row 17.1.15 London O2Arena www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkxoaIQ1zek&feature=shareeta I just realized you said European tour and this is from London, so may not count. I choose this one because I was there. To hear it live is out of this world BigLaughBefore this and MSG rendition (I was there too) I liked iheart version one of the best but at O2 London his voice was so powerful. I don't know, he is getting better show after show. How is that possible  Did I inspire some nice memories? He did get better amazingly enough. I saw the Vancouver show which was early days and things were still gelling. I did love my concert experience though!!! |
