Who stole my Adam.. beard,tattoos ,body building.. What?? He is morphing into another man... STOP already... what's next piercings. I want my Adam back I know you are just being silly, melliemom, but let me assure you "bodybuilding" and "working out" are not the same. The former turns you into Arnold, but the latter gets you looking good and in great shape! Adam is "working out!"  You're right there, I was being silly...working out is really good for Adam and everybody.. Now back to my book  |

Yesterday (before the gym pictures distracted us all) there was talk about how to occupy our time while waiting for TOH and the first single. One suggestion was to compile a list of the best videos/versions of each individual song from the European tour. Could we do one song per day? Or do we need more time to search, listen and post our favorite? Let me start it off with my favorite song from the show: WWTLF. This is probably my favorite version/video. The audio is great, the visual of the lighting is beautiful, and the vocals are impeccable, with no audience chorus joining in. What is your favorite version? just to clarify: are we looking for the best video(as in video/audio quiality) OR we are looking for the best performance by Adam? That's an excellent question. Ideally, we would find one that was the best in terms of video and audio quality, and also had a stellar vocal performance. For me, of course, the vocals (and a good audio track to hear them clearly) are of prime importance. Someone else might like the artistry of the light show better because, after all, Adam always sings the song beautifully. Perhaps, we could have a handful of recommended videos, and tomorrow or the next day, I could put up a poll to vote which is the favorite and would go on a QAL-Europe Best Collection (which some techie guru [ dancy?] could compile into a downloadable file). IF it is true that the official QAL DVD is not going to be released until 2016 (WTF? 2016 will NOT help my withdrawal in the slightest), we will have to make our own to tide us over. |

Suddenly....!!! the door opens , my inner sanctum has been penetrated. It's my husband. "Aren't you going to fix any supper you've been staring that picture of Adam for three hours and I'm starving." Reluctantly I tear myself away and head for the kitchen. "Will hamburgers be alright dear? " I call in my sweetest voice. "Yes, anything ,anything I'm just starving and bring me a glass of tea." "No problem dear I'm coming "again and my sweetest voice. Now where did I put that big can of Cayanne pepper;) |

I am pretty sure most, before marriage, knew how to make a hamburger or sandwich, and some ice tea (unless they still lived with Mommy before marriage, in which case, why would any woman think he was a good catch?). |

^ Hopefully he doesn't mess up the two though and try to drink from the drum stick and hit his drum with the wineglass This reminds me of the second London 02 show where, during CLTCL, Adam sang into the wrong hand - ie the one without the mic! SO I'm thinking oh noooooo I so wanted new band. Bummer. Bummer. Anyone want to take a gander in hopes that Rufus might consider a tour w Adam or other than Quinn w dad. Does he have anything ongoing??
sigh. I hope I can express my negative thoughts. It's not about the Person but more so the artistry.

Cassie...I feel like I'm running in circles trying to remember all the videos we've gotten from so many concerts to figure out the best one from each show!! I was thinking I needed to do a CD for the best audio for each song from the concerts and your idea will give me a collection of vids I can hopefully makes mp3's and a CD! |

It will require viewing a number of videos. However, I didn't make it quite as challenging as you think. It is not find the best video of each song from each show. It is find the best version/video of each song considering all the concerts in the European tour. I don't know about you, but I made a playlist of "the best of QAL Europe". When I watched the videos posted after each show, if I saw one that was particularly stellar, I added it to the list. For those of you who did not make note of your favorite versions, I would suggest 1) that you start with the most recent concerts and work your way back, as I think they all got better and better as the tour progressed, or 2) start with your favorite videographer. For example, kinkykiedis has given us some marvelous work, as has ki$$andtell. Or start with Mark Bowles multi-cam offerings. Or, 3) look yourself up in the "member" section and review your tweets for the last month or so. If you saw a particularly great video posted on a thread, perhaps you made a comment on it on the thread, and can start from there. OR, 4) search for the song on YT and sort by popularity. Then start at the top and view them all. Popcorn!We've got time to kill at the moment. |
