A friend of mine has a theory: she says Adam is working out intensively now, because he plans to be half naked in his music video for the April single! if that actually happens i don't think i could handle it . . . weak heart over here !! |

International Women's Day has a strange history. It started in the US but was a socialist workers and labor holiday so during the cold war really vanished here and became a big holiday in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe alone with the social democracies in Western Europe.
It is now a UN holiday and global. But really not celebrated in any official way in the US until 2011.

Aww....what a great flashback to when Adam was on Idol and it was going home week and he went to an interview and they surprised him by having his mother there when he walked into the room. **** A male pop/rock/hiphop star focused on his body and using the image is pretty typical -- mostly it has no impact on me -- Daughtry, Adam Levine and many others have done it. Nick Jonas and JT have all those abs shots. Usher, Drake, Jason DuRulo, etc. etc. etc. This photo..............................something different about it. Maybe it was the soft focus and lighting and personal nature of it. The something different about it is it is Adam Lambert. tee hee But IMO it is also artistic, composed, moody, provocative, and oh so attractive BECAUSE it is not a "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME" egotistical body building photo. It hides as much as it reveals. I am sure it was carefully and thoughtfully staged, but it has the feeling of being a spontaneous candid photo; a glimpse into his private side. Adam Levine's nude frontal with a woman's hand covering his privates? Did nothing for me. Justin Beiber's underwear advertisement with a photoshopped body (why work out when you can just alter the photo digitally) made me laugh. Adam Lambert's photo looks like something you might see in an art gallery. And is sensually yummy. Yes! It is a good photo too, and not only because of the subject. "It hides as much as it reveals." I agree! And the composition is spot on. Lots of nice lines. Light and dark. Light and shade. Lovely balance. And symmetry. |

I always hoped Adam would get serious about training. Loosing weight around his waist, and chest is hard with his short waisted body type combined with his past youthful heftyness. Running does not cut it. You need weights and a lot of anaerobic training. The decision to get Seth on board has him on his way. The lighting and shading is enhancing his definition. I await sculpted arms, upper body in daylight, with continued hard work. Go Adam! ( edit add....his upper legs quads and hamstrings were noticeably changing and you could see the definition while on tour....I was never concerned about Adam's legs, an upper body is always the challenge .) These surveys are so goofy. Helps pass the time though. My first attempt indicated Irish, which I thought was way "to syrupy" for my taste ....haha You're the perfect example of kindness and human courtesy one could ever ask for. Empathy flows deep down into your bones. It is really who you are. You have cared for many and healed them with your touch, even at the cost of trusting others when they didn't deserve your trust. To be honest, your love and trust should be cherished and treasured. By being yourself and spreading your healing, you are creating a legacy of kindness and selflessness that will never be forgotten! I re did the survey and got Canadian yet I never felt my answers were antisocial, most were the same as my first try with a few changes. I think these surveys pull certain sentences for the answers you provide and randomly throw out a country. Lol! You live in the hearts of many. You're a great symbol empathy, dignity, care, and uncompromising love. Your compassion is unique, and you truly understand what others are going through. Life brings many ups and downs but you've picked your head up through and through. You will forever be remembered for your remarkable empathy and dignity! |
