Well, Adam Lambert Has A BIG Week On Twitter – Is He Shooting ‘Glee’ IN NYC? Q: Do you feel pressure to be a exemplary role model for homosexual culture because you are gay and do you get tired of that word? A: good question. Yeah sometimes I wish we could just focus on music. But there is Soo much intolerance out there- gets me heated. sometimes seems gay men “eat their own” They’d rather support straight girl stars than a fellow gay guy. #selfloathingprojection Very, very good point, which I have seen. Afterelton used the worst, fat photo on Adams birthday, and are always very dismissive of him. Out are just hostile towards him. I think some of this may come from the fact they are not used to having an out gay icon to write about. Some may be worried Adam will ‘trip’ up and this will reflect on the ‘gay community’. But besides the reasons, it must be strange for him to see that level of shit from gay papers and websites. And finally, as ‘Glee’ is shooting in NYC this week, and li’l Adam is still in town, I have decided he will be making an apperance on the season finale of ‘Glee’. Well, that is my dream and I am sticking to it. Congrats Adam, you totally rock. Yeah, my SIL gave me a hard time about going to the Atlanta Atop party. Said it wouldn't be safe, etc., and generally thought it was weird. Then she went on to tell me she is going on a trip to Machu Pichu with some people she met at a drum circle conference! How is it any different?!! Argh!!!! No different, Lynneville, we gots drums too and you didn't have to travel as far.  |

I think there is a truly amazing article just waiting to be written on why Adam has gotten (for the most part) negative-to-tepid reception from the gay media. I actually think AfterElton has been very supportive of Adam, though. |
