catzmadam... when will you be finally finished with your mom's house? Are you trying to sell it now? Thanks for asking babe  The house has been empty for just over two years. I've had many, many issues dealing with it - I've been sick and it's been emotionally and physically difficult, but I have just a bit of furniture left upstairs to sell. The three burglaries at Christmas knocked me sideways and I'm still dealing with an annoying insurance company to get all the damage fixed. There is currently no water whatsoever to the house as the thieves stole all the copper piping/plumbing. Once damage is fixed, I'll give it a quick clean up and yes! it's going on the market. My Mum and Dad built this house 60 years ago, it's my family home (for better or worse), but I'm soooooooooo..... over it right now and it needs to go. Awwww, Catz! Sounds like everything that can go wrong has! Wish we could come over and give you a hug! Hold on and we will send out a good will request to the universe!!! Check back in as often as you can!!! Hopefully Karma will catch up with the bad guys.  |

I've spent the week dealing with police and calling in favours to have it removed - which it has been. Desperately needed to get the last of the crap out from underneath the house as a final stage. Insurance contractors are now making contact to fix plumbing, glass panes etc, but I'm now in a bit of a hiatus as my pre-surgery appointment is this Thursday with surgery scheduled for the following Friday on the 6th of May. So I'm gonna be out of action for a week or so and depending on the results, I don't know whether I will need radio therapy or not in the ensuing weeks. Sorry, didn't mean to go into personal crap - just a tad overwhelmed at the mo. It's why I love playing in Adamland so much - it's such a nurturing place to be I know you've been overwhelmed, and I remember all the above crap that you were facing with the burglary and copper-pipe stealing.... The problems seem to be never-ending, and you've got a lot on your plate right now with a health scare to deal with. I'm glad you have this place to play. You need it. And we're here for you.
