I know nothing about drag queens, but, to me, Raja was a step above everyone else. She was stunning, and her make up looked more high fashion than camp. More genuine as a model than as a caricature. Her fashion sense was incredible, and again, genuine fashion rather than an exaggeration of what female fashion is. She also showed more different looks, different styles, more edgy, more avantgarde. And what a sick sense of visual humor at times. I could really see the artistry in what she was doing. Of course, not knowing what a drag queen was supposed to look or act like, I didn't know if what she was doing was outside the box in a good way or not. Didn't know if big hair, big boobies, 2 inch long fake lashes, and yards and yards of frilly, poofy fabric conplete with train was the look that was desired. So glad she was recognized for what she created. I am so curious what Adam may have advised Sutan about how to manage a reality show. Did Adam's being brave in being alternative and surprising and awesome on AI inspire Sutan to go for it? Did he get ideas and tips just from watching Adam on stage every night? Oh, well. We'll never know. I agree. And I knew she would win when I heard RuPaul describe her as "intellectual" in her approach. I could see Ru was excited about Raja, more than any other contestant. Raja brings truth to drag. What you both said. Yup!

I guess there are some people on twitter complaining that Raja won because Adam told Ru Paul to let her win. Adam is causing all kinds of trouble these days!!! And Cassie, ITA with your post. I think Raja won this because she was out-the-box. Adam surrounds himself with good people who are talented in their own right.

Raja brings truth to drag. ^^^This My sister and I were visiting my mom this weekend. I had mentioned that I watch Rupaul's drag race and I thought that the drag queens were talented. My sister said to me, " That was different and I am not sure Iwill watch it again, but that Raja was awesome. " Adam has some very talented friends. I am glad that at least one of them is realizing their potential. I still have high hopes for Allison Iraheta. When I saw her in San Diego, I was a little disapointed, but her performance in Houston was outstanding. I hope that Adam expands the era of talent and music that Adele is currently bringing to the music industry. I would love to hear Adam and Adele in a collaboration.
