Should/can I still shazam even though I'm in England? shoshanna stone@shoshannastone @tracywiseman2 @lambertlust @libralaurie it's not country specific - it's important everywhere. When we tell you it will be global

What is Tove Lo saying here? Was she hoping for a little less production laid over those vocals. Adam does not need that, his natural voice is more brilliant than any autotune sound, and he is so close to perfect, that he does not need any major clean up of his vocals. On the other hand, these production layers seem to erase the natural harmonies that mother nature has endowed Adam with. This sounds like Tove Lo is longing for the natural Adam voice just like we all do, but has heard the fully produced sound and ...oh well... was really hoping that with no Dr Luke we would get a little less production..... I think she is saying that if you have heard Adam on a record (FYI, Trespassing, Avicii's True etc.), you have no idea how insane his voice is in person in the studio. I don't think she meant anything negative about TOH in particular. Just trying to compliment him on his unmiked power. I guess she had heard some of his tracks before they first met, and she was blown away by the live experience. But we already knew that I think he sounds live betterr than on a recording. Not many artists can say that. Good artists sound the al ost the same live and recorded, but adam sounds live even better!

Not many artists can say that. Good artists sound the al ost the same live and recorded, but adam sounds live even better! I have never hear one spec of Adam Lambert recorded that captures his voice. I am not sure it can be done. I know of a few others --- Pavarotti, Freddie Mercury (in a weird coincidence), P!nk, Steve Perry (Journey), Marvin Gay. I never got to hear either Whitney Houston or Dione Warrick live but I have been told it was a similar experience. I have only been to one Sam Smith concert and one Lorde concert but both are better live than recorded. That said -- there is no one that I have heard live who is as much better live than recorded as Adam. And I have been lucky to hear a lot of people live. I am married to a non-Adam fan (he likes Adam but is not a fanatic like me) and he has seen many, many great vocalists live -- he also thinks the Adam live to recorded differential is the greatest he has ever heard. Even the "live" Adam recordings don't get it.
