To celebrate the momentous occasion of my 1000th post... A screenshot of that heartstopping moment where Adam looked me in the eye, pointed at me and sang "I want to break free"

Why streaming and having a big single is so important for album sales now! Was bound to happen & it didn't take long. An album that was #1 in sales, lost its number one spot on the Billboard 200, to an album that had more streaming and track sales. Madonna's sales were 116K with only 4K in Track Equivalents & 1K in Stream Equivalents, for a total of 121K. Empire soundtrack had 110K in sales, with 17K in Track Equivalents and 3K in Stream Equivalents, for a total of 130K. Streaming is important! A hit single is so important!!

I've noticed that Rolling Stone magazine no longer has a countdown of top albums on their last page. Anyone know why?

I've noticed that Rolling Stone magazine no longer has a countdown of top albums on their last page. Anyone know why? I've always wondered why they even bothered do that, since it was always 2 weeks late. Maybe they've finally decided the same thing. Not very relevant to publish that list since up to date info is readily available online.
