Hate to be a Debbie downer, but Madonna and Adam at the same time, with the same name of a song....I just see confusion...tinges of Trespassing release along with the bastard album. Panic. Just seems Adam's release of albums is plagued with something, and takes away from the album release. Damn, I know different voices...hopefully a different sound. I'm having anxiety already. Sorry, but had to let it go. Intriguing sound, and yes spaghetti western type...The Good, the Bad and the Ugly sound. Radio is very intrigued at the moment. So me too!!! don't stress too much smokey. here is the Madonna song that sounds nothing like the snippet from Adam and it was released to radio on March 13th. Adam's is almost a month way. There will be no confusion at all and no conflict for radio IMO. Okay feel better. IMO, her song is boring. What was interesting is the comments on the youtube. Her fans felt it was her best song on the album, others thought that Rebel yell was, and her voice shone thru. Pretty autotuned to say the least. Either way, the sound APPEARS to be completely different, but I still feel there will be much confusion.

I love the snippet. I love the production. I love you can hear him breathing in. I love that there's the deep house he was talking about.
No problem with Madonna in the UK - Radio 1 isn't playing her this era, and I don't think Capital are either.

Will not be an issue for Adam. Madonna's first single was pretty much ignored. Listen to her track, it will also be ignored.

I think if the release dates were closer together there might be more confusion but Madonna's song is already impacting on on radio. I checked the mediabase charts and it is primarily getting adds on HAC. It is currently sitting at #42 on the HAC chart mediabase chart with 277 spins (up from 5 spins last week) with an AI of 1.5 million (AI is audience impression). I really wouldn't worry about the similar song titles. They are two completely different songs and artists. WBR knows what they are doing.

Living for Love was a shit single whereas Ghosttown is a pretty ballad type song which could do moderately well on HAC formats. I don't think it will have any impact on Adam's single either way.

Adam or his management is sadistic. A snippet without one second of his voice? Torture. It doesn't matter if the song is as good as Bohemian Rhapsody or Yesterday if his voice is not there. It's the equivalent of previewing a work of art by showing us the corner of the frame. And we have to wait an entire month for his voice?

The theatrical crooner has teased his new single, “Ghost Town” on Instagram for his fans last night (March 22). Just don’t confuse it with “Ghosttown,” which is Madonna‘s latest track off Rebel Heart. Coincidence? We sure hope so! The tune is paired with a 15-second black + white clip featuring Lambert sultrily staring into the camera. The song itself is produced by Max Martin and sounds like a slinky house romp. Judging from the new preview and the singer’s eye-opening shirtless selfies, this new album may dig into some naughty themes! “Ghost Town” will serve as the first single of Lambert’s forthcoming third album, The Original High. Look out for the track when it drops on April 21. Watch the “Ghost Town” song preview below, and let us know if you’re excited for new Adam Lambert music!

I think, the snippet is deceptive, it will launch into either pretty heavy R&B, or House Music. You know Adam, the master of surprises. Yeah I think you're right. Must admit I got a visual of a whistling cowboy sauntering down a tumbleweed strewn lane. (I can probably thank the song's title for that - but still.... haha!) .....is that Adam whistling?! Cuz that would be really cool to see performed! AND I think we're going to get a TV performance before April 21st. The video clip is perfection! Smouldering gaze - UGH! ♥♥

What do you all think? Does this promo and release day increase the chances of a performance Sunday at IHeart? No chance he will perform it so far before the release date. Maybe he walks the red carpet -- but not an essential event. Just based on the clip -- first performance will be after release. Maybe in May. Two possible important dates:
May 17, 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Las Vegas, NV
May 12-13, 2015 American Idol Finale, Los Angeles, CA
