Adam is AI winner again!lol Sneak peek: Adam Lambert’s new single ‘Ghost Town’Glamberts rejoice: your king has a new single out on 21st April. Former American Idol winner Adam Lambert teased a 15-second clip from his forthcoming single ‘Ghost Town’ on Instagram today, taken from forthcoming album The Original High. The clip, which features whistling and a heavy beat, doesn’t show off Lambert’s vocals – but he’s proven himself on that front on countless occasions, having sung lead vocals à la Freddie Mercury in Queen’s live shows since 2012. Lambert has previously spoken about the direction of his new music: “It’s definitely pop and there’s some house on there, there’s some R&B flavours here and there, and I co-wrote the whole thing with… [Max Martin and Shellback] and I’m really excited for people to hear it. “I want it to be less about me, even though it’s personal, and more about the listener. So whatever it means to you. I’m doing the music for the audience, not for myself.” Queen guitarist Brian May has openly praised 33-year-old Lambert as a “gift from God”, even suggesting he can reach higher notes than Mercury could. Listen to the teaser audio below.

I am wondering, whether it is possible, that Adam's management had originally wanted to go for release with Ghost Town in March, but when they found out that Madonna had a single with that title (sans space), that they decided to separate them out by a month, and given that her stuff had already leaked, and given that she is the Queen of Pop, she got to go first.
Have no idea, whether that is true, but I do think, it could be possible. And Adam tweeting his probable lyrics: 'Time was Thrown at the Wind', would make sense, in a way that was cryptic at the time when her single was released, but would be understood later.
It does seem, as if the whole WB/Publ.Edge roll-out plan was ready since a while. Much sooner than the now revealed 4/21 date would indicate, imo, so that is why I think, it could be true.
Just speculating.
