First www.koolaid.com/ koolaid is a children s drink that is very sweet and I find nauseous. YMMV is your mileage may vary. comes from the disclaimer car companies put on the miles per gallon they suggest their brand of car will drive. The 'drinking the Kool-Aid' used today refers to this ...... from wiki "Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a figure of speech commonly used in the United States that refers to a person or group holding an unquestioned belief, argument, or philosophy without critical examination. It could also refer to knowingly going along with a doomed or dangerous idea because of peer pressure. The phrase oftentimes carries a negative connotation when applied to an individual or group. It can also be used ironically or humorously to refer to accepting an idea or changing a preference due to popularity, peer pressure, or persuasion. The phrase derives from the November 1978 Jonestown deaths, in which over 900 members of the Peoples Temple, who were followers of Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking a mixture of a powdered soft drink flavoring agent laced with cyanide.Although the powder used in the incident included Flavor Aid, it was commonly referred to as Kool-Aid due to the latter's status as a generalized trademark." It is most famous because of the Jonestown Tragedy but it was in use for years before that. I believe that it originated with Ken Kensey's use of Kool-Aid with LSD in it at parties where he "turned people on" to the counterculture. This was made famous in The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test in 1968. Perhaps we should say -- drink the Electric Kool-Aid. I am on board the magic bus for that one! Hop on board!!

Count me in on one of those who did not like the photo shoot. Not because of the clothes or the scruffiness, but because I think he is way more beautiful than the pictures depict. I've seen plenty of candids where he takes my breath away and I think how is he real being the best singer in the world as well as the most beautiful man I've ever seen. And to be a great person to boot.
On a related shallow note, I was thinking of the publicity he is getting in the UK and thought to myself, IMO, there aren't any drop-dead gorgeous current UK male artists. Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs, Matt Bellamy do nothing for me. In fact, I can't even think of a past UK male artist who would have floored me with his looks. Not Freddie, Mick, or any of the Beatles. Maybe Roger. Maybe Adam's gorgeousness, in addition to his charisma, will help him stand out more in the UK.

Finally a headline that gets it right! Good for them. Read quite a few headlines today, that were the opposite of what he was saying, and it was not because Adam was not clear, he was very much so, it was because either they thought the opposite and spun the headline their way, or they did not even bother to think, just read the word 'gay', and there they went - kind of proving Adam's second point.

I absolutely love the new photos. He is drop dead gorgeous in those! Love the one with the collar up and his hair full down on his face! The look on his face is smouldering sex!!!!! Have it as my screensaver at work. Had 2 coworkers ask me today who he is. When I told them they were surprised it was Adam. Even they think this is the sexiest and best he has ever looked. Also love Ghost Town!!! When I heard it for the first time I immediately thought of a spaghetti western. That title suits that music. Can't wait till the 21st! What a great time to be an Adam fan!!! I'm loving it !!!!!

This brought me out of silence. What exactly did she ask him? Did she say any input from Queen? His voice and body language really reacted to that question if that is what she said. What do you guys think? she said "are you staying with queen?" I heard her ask any input from Queen? his excited response in the change in his pitch makes me think there'll be something there on the album fingers crossed

*** I can only think of one Adam looks that I do not believe anyone LOVED -- the leather poncho look. (Please do not post it and ruin my high over how well this launch is going. ) I didn't hate it. I liked the spirit of it

The Ken Kesey version as outlined by Q3 is the way I think about drinking the Kool-Aid. I think every incarnation of Adam has something to commend itself, it is amazingly great that he has so many different looks and loves to play around with them.

helloo im back frae a lang wanderin ,o, thae highlands ,,nae internet ,nae fone signal twas a wee it like livin in thae bermuda triangle , THOSE FOTOS WHERE,S THE DROOL BUKET ( canna spell) now the snippet combined with ,the fotos , and that weird IG of the pic on the wall gives a wee bit ,o dark wave electro pop ,, which had a huge following ,here in the uk , and europe, late 90,s i will be wrong ,, any way whit the fuck is KOOLAID ,,, IS THAT THE STUFF THE UK AND EUROPE CALL WINE , and here in scotland we call whisky If "canna spell" means "cannot spell," you are making me laugh. I can barely make out what you are saying most of the time. But it always makes me laugh. And I'm getting better at interpreting it. Kool Aid--flavored powder that you mix with sugar and water to make a cheap drink for kids (and my brother-in-law *shiver with disgust*).

she said "are you staying with queen?" I heard her ask any input from Queen? his excited response in the change in his pitch makes me think there'll be something there on the album fingers crossed I'm of the mindset of no - nothing from Queen. Although not to fan the flames there was that one interview where Brian was asked about going into the studio with Adam (for a Queen + Adam album) where he coyly replied "How do you know we haven't already" which could mean exactly that - he was in the studio with Adam but not for Queen +... That and add to the fact that Brian really is a whore (and I mean that in a good way!). If you ask him to play on your album, generally he will....so I have no doubt that if Adam wanted to have Brian on a track, he would be. BUT my initial thought is still that it will be Queen-less. As for the interview...I thought she possibly might have said any more from Queen or inspired by Queen. Really tough to tell....I do think he may have been responding to Rock In Rio being announced imminently (at that time)

I love this current photo shoot. I work at a university and everyone I've shown the shots to think he looks hot and they are intrigued to see more. Most really didn't know anything about him or said in surprise, 'Thaaat's Adam Lambert! They still remember this emo kid from Idol. He looks dark and mysterious, perfect concept for 'Ghosttown' in my opinion. I absolutely love this current shoot - and I'm not even a tattoo lover - far from it. I am just intrigued with the dark and mysterious feel of these photos - with his brooding sultry look - to say nothing of those full, pouty lips-umm - 'nuf said about that. yup you said a mouthful there, pouty mouth that is...
