If my fiance grew mustache like Adam's I'd probably put up a huge fight to get rid of those, but for some reason I don't mind the look on Adam.
I've been looking trough a lot of pictures of Adam recently and I don't know how to really explain what I noticed in English, but I'll try. Adam really isn't the type of guy I would go for and when I look at his pictures I don't feel any kind of sexual attraction. But I have noticed that there is some other kind of appeal and I like looking at his photos. Most of the photos I've seen are very beautiful. I think it must be because there is always so much character in them. Like this photo with the mustache. His expression, eyes, smile the beard and mustache, clothes and everything makes up a nice interesting ensemble.

I watched this yesterday and found it very telling for what Adam faces in the UK when he comes back for round 2. It's kd lang and Jennifer Hudson on Graham Norton's show: The pertinent bit is around 1min30 - 2min30. His promo next time needs to avoid mentioning American Idol as much as possible going by the audience responses. I am not able to watch this - can someone please give a short synopsis? In terms how this is related to Adam? Thanks! Graham Norton was speaking to Jennifer Hudson and asked her about the AI process. She said that before they get before the judges, they have about three auditions and sometimes they are brainwashed and told they are fabulous and to keep doing what they are doing, then sometimes the judges catch them off guard and tell them they aren’t good, which is why some of them get so upset. Graham asked KD Lang, who was also a guest, if AI had ever approached her to use any of her songs and she said that they hadn’t and she wouldn’t let them. She said that she didn’t believe in AI (which is when the predominantly KD audience cheered) She thought that Jennifer would have found her way anyway as she is one of the finest singers (another audience cheer). She said that you would never find another Joni Mitchell or Bob Dylan on Americal Idol. In defence of the British public, I think the audience was there for KD Lang and would have cheered her if she said the moon was made of cheese! We just need to get Adam played on the radio here, it is so frustrating! I hope this country can get the chance to experience Adam soon so that we can extend KD Lang’s statement that you will never find another Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan or Adam Lambert on American Idol – because that’s the truth.

gotta admit I like him better without the facial hair....
Glad Raja won!
The video of the fan squeaks me out. I'll never comprehend how a grown woman can think that behavior is okay.

See but does Adam have a choice to eliminate the Idol mentions when he does promo in the UK? I can see how he himself may not bring it up, but it still wouldn;t stop the tv hosts/interviewers and whatnot from intorducing him as "Idol runner up..." or asking him about the show. Unless of course his management tells them not to mention it but then it would make him look like an ungrateful ass and yeah. It's a tightrope walk for sure--to move away from the show and yet still remain humble and thankful for what the show gave you.
If he can break out with one amazing song, just oooone that catches on in the UK he will have a much easier time.
Oh and am I the only one who thinks Bob Dylan is overrated? LOL. I guess not my kinda music...different generations...whatever. No we will never find another one of those bc music has changed in so many ways, some good some bad. I think it's time the musicians who came to fame the old way start to realize that times change and that truly talented ppl coming to fame on these shows isn't good or bad, it's just different. Face it, JHUd prolly never woulda been given a music contract no matter what KD Lang says. Adam either(dunno bout JHud but Adam tried for yrs to make it and got nowehere). They weren't the beautiful pre manufactured pop stars that are all over the airwaves. They were different. Jhud was chubby, Adam gay, heck even Kelly Clarkson tried and sent demos and got nowehere. She woulda prolly been called too chubby/not cute enough and that's that. They may have gotten signed, who knows, but they would have probably achieved minimal success probably in smaller niche markets.
These celebs can knock Idol all they want, and yes there is alot to mock, but it has churned out some truly amazing talents and let's face it, I'm pretty sure these stars turning their noses up at it now that they are famous and rich would have had a different attitude about going on the show back when they were struggling and hungry to make it.
*rant over*
