Welcome Ann!!! Have you found the lists of audio and video downloads yet? Just ask if you need help with any of them! Also, do you remember which concert it was where Adam looked straight into the video stream camera? Yeah, welcome Ann!! It was an absolute delight to read your story. I still remember those first months, obsessively watching everything available on youtube. And I am somewhat late to the party too, so there was plenty to discover. And dancygeorgia, I remember the concert, it was Paris. My heart almost stopped, it felt as if he could have stepped out of my iPad into my living room any moment.

Thank you all SO MUCH for the fabulous welcome after my first post, you've made me feel even more at home here. I'm turning into a leaky bucket as more tears were shed! Nic42 has just provided an example of something I've experience every single day - that whenever I think something, someone else posts exactly the same thing. It was just as you say, as though he was about to burst out of my computer screen. And thanks for remembering (where I didn't) that it was Paris. I've been so impressed by the calibre of the fans that Adam attracts - as he says himself, the Glamberts are smart. I suppose you could say that an artist attracts the fans he deserves. I've spent years on personal development and it's as though Adam has naturally internalised all the "How to Win Friends and Influence People" lessons without actually having to do the studying. I've seldom encountered anyone with better social skills and the ability to make the most inane interviewer feel as though they're doing a good job. Although it seems as though Ghost Town is set to be a "surefire winner" I don't think it even matters whether it is or not. Everything about the Adam of today just shrieks out "global megastar". He's the whole package and it won't be long before he's a household name in the same way as his own idols.

Becoming a fan after the QAL concert in Amsterdam, the next week i was online the whole time. Watching everything on youtube, getting to know Adam and his music. It is so nice to see that that is the effect Adam has on people. Ann, i relate so much to your story, it could have been my post :-)

I assume you are using Firefox. This is a bug in Firefox usually caused by an extension or add-on. Sorry to say the easiest way to fix it is to switch to Chrome. Note: I am stubborn and still use Firefox on my PC. I just live with its quirky bits -- like an old pair of shoes that are too comfortable to replace. ** If anyone is using Firefox on a phone or tablet, I strongly recommend you switch to a browser that is designed for these devices. Firefox has too many bugs on these devices. I use Chrome with no issues. I have not thoroughly tested Opera for mobile but it is fast and well built. I get the message too & only use Chrome! Never ever use Firefox :( Late to the discussion......But I only use Chrome too....and I get the "do you want to leave this page" message periodically...not every time I hit refresh, which is a lot of times each day.....but I do get it as well from time to time.

A little late in posting here, but as another Ann I also want to welcome AnnAdoresAdam to this site. I too am impressed in the quality of fans that he draws especially on this site - and am also impressed with the politeness, patience, and humbleness that Adam displays with each interview.
My son has a friend who worked with Adam on Wicked as a chorus boy and understudy (like Adam). Early on I asked him about Adam, and the very first thing he said was that Adam was a great guy - down-to-earth, humble, friendly, funny, yet also very hardworking and trying to get ahead. He was almost too old too try out for American Idol, but was encouraged by my son's friend and others to give it a try - and so now this rest is on-going history. I mentioned to my son's friend over 5 years ago back then that as Adam becomes more successful and well-known that I hoped he never loses these qualities mentioned above - and he never has. Adam will continue to be successful even though his path has been a tricky circuitous climb. My son from the beginning calls it a "slow burn", but he will make it. I also believe Adam will be around for a long time.
Welcome to this site, and am looking forward to further posts from you.

Welcome, Ann! I am a very infrequent poster, but a habitual lurker. I really enjoyed reading your first post. I think you said more in that initial post than I have in all the years I have been here. Sounds as though this is the perfect 'home' for you. I'm sure you will love it here! Lots of great fans!! Looking forward to hearing from you again.
