These words....so haunting! Emily Lambert @xadamsbabex 49m
“Died last night in my dreams walking the streets of some old ghost town. I tried to believe in god and James Dean but Hollywood sold out.
Saw all of the saints lock up the gates; I could not enter.
Walked into the flames, called out your name, but there was no answer.“
Be still my heart. Lyrics. Poetic lyrics. #Ghost Town

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!!! It feels great to be among like-minded people where it comes to Adam and to be able to talk and flail about him without the eye rolls I just wish I had discovered him earlier since I missed out on so much but as they say, better late than never I'm so excited for Ghost Town, I like the snippets and the lyrics already

Hi Everyone, I have been lurking on this board for a while and have been a fan of Adam since October 2014. I watched him on Glee and thought his Marry the Night was really amazing. And then my sister sent me his clip of Mad World on Idol (the first one). I didn't know why but I just kept replaying that clip over and over again. And then I got curious and started to wikipedia, google and youtube him... and the rest is history. Fell down the rabbit hole hard and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't go "Adam this and Adam that" lol. I then found out that he was in my city with Queen in July 2014. So I missed him by three months... and was heartbroken :( And then when the time came for my vacation this year, I decided to take it early in February and travel to England to see the three QAL concerts in Wembley, Liverpool and Sheffield. Got general admission for the first two shows and seats for the third show. Waited 9-10 hours for the first two shows and got to be first row at the B-stage I have never done anything like that for anyone before. The concerts were just magical and Adam was just amazing. Got to see him up close and got to hold his hand twice I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I also got to meet Graciejane and Bristolgill at the Liverpool show I saw that you were able to be front row at the B-stage as well. I waved at you but I don't think you could see me. I am the Asian girl from Montreal who waited in line with my husband Anyway, I cannot wait for Ghost Town and for the Original High. Adam is so underrated, it is almost criminal. I have been so excited about all the praises Ghost Town has been getting and really hope that it will be the hit song that will finally propel Adam to the stratosphere where he belongs Hi Liliane, I remember you and your husband well from our hours queuing for the Liverpool concert. I was with Bristolgill but I don't think Graciejane was there.... (Or were you, Gracie?) i actually have a photo, somewhere, of you both in that lovely, fun group that huddled in the doorway, trying to escape the relentless wind and rain - compulsory Adam queuing weather! So glad you found your way here - such a great time coming up for Adam...and us! Post often. SophieB, sorry for mistaking you with Graciejane And sorry Graciejane for mistaking you with SophieB. I remember after the concert I scrolled down the board quickly and saw something about BristolGill and you going to the Liverpool concert, I must have confused you and Graciejane then and just assumed from then on. SophieB it was great meeting you and BristolGill and to talk about Adam with you both, made the waiting and the bad weather much less tedious

The radio personalities' tweets are related to what Warner Brothers is doing (the label) and not what Shoshanna is doing. The press reports and interviews are the responsibility of the PR firm (Shoshanna). Adam's management is responsible for keeping the overarching plan in place -- looking at the big picture. The different entities that form Adam's team work together and have meetings/conference calls to stay on the same page but since everyone has a separate and different role, it is pretty simple. A few examples: Attitude Magazine - Shoshanna Z100/Elvis tweet - WMG/Warner Brothers Records (Shoshanna would be involved in the interview with Elvis.) Music Video - WMG/Warner Brothers Records Deals with WMG and Max Martin/Shellback - DMG Overall Adam strategy and positioning - DMG On April 6th shoshanna tweeted this shoshanna stone @shoshannastone · Apr 6
Today, I am spending the day playing people new music ) #GhostTownso, how can the tweets about hearing the song be from work WB is doing? Also, how is DMG responsible for Max/Shellback when WB is the label and who pays any advance on recording of an album and puts all that in place ? DMG books Adam's appearances on television, award shows, talk shows, etc. Shoshanna handles press and media mentions. that said Adam's team works in conjunction with each other. Collectively they all have the same objective, to make Adam successful. Not Q3, but some questions I think I can answer, so I'll take a stab at those: your question about Shoshanna playing music, DJs tweeting about it:context: Q3 had been responding to a few people here who were bringing up Shoshanna's name in the context of radio play, and so Q3 pointed out the label 's role, because that is really their terrain, not Shosh'. Especially, when it comes to the business end of things (PD level, indies, etc.). That part has happened. Shoshanna, as publicist is doing more foreground / visible work. Playing the song for a group of DJs is well within the possibilities of something she could do, especially when it deals with the promotional plan that is being implemented as we speak. None of this means that WB did not play the song to multiple people too (of course they have), but they are not tweeting about it. your question: how is DMG responsible for Max/Shellback when WB is the label and who pays any advance on recording of an album and puts all that in place ?Labels function in two separate phases within an album cycles: 1) Making of an album (traditionally A&R work), which ends with a formal acceptance of an album by the label. Any questions of advances, EP for and album, etc belong into this phase. I don't think we know exactly when Adam's album was accepted, but Fall of 2014 is a good guess calendar wise. 2) Roll-out and promotion: This is the phase we are in now, and the phase Q3 was talking about when she listed the label's roles. From anything I can tell, DMG, Edge Publicity and WB are working closely together, which is a joy to see, and has not happened for Adam in the past. When a team works hand in hand, pieces can sometimes move around in unconventional ways, especially when two continents and major markets are involved. But for the most part, things were pretty straight forward so far, imo. Now the flailing of a few individuals at radio stations has gone beyond the typical, and that means the song impressed them, and that makes me so, so, so very happy to see.

Hmmm. Wonder if Adam is leveraging some of his own money to get a vid he really wants? Or, to help with marketing campaign in general? I know nothing, but it has crossed my mind. No need for Adam to fund anything from what I have learned -- he has a very good contract. Also it is not his style to fund things. Back in 2009 he talked a bit and indicated he was very conservative with money because he had lived in LA for a while and learned a lot.

Great answer -- and exactly what I was trying to say about the radio tweets which is the comment I responded to. On the other questions.... Q: so, how can the tweets about hearing the song be from work WB is doing?
>> Shoshanna would play GT for publicity purposes -- that is different than for radio airplay promotion. Also, how is DMG responsible for Max/Shellback when WB is the label and who pays any advance on recording of an album and puts all that in place ?
>> DMG manages the business aspects and put together the deal between Adam, Max Martin and WB. Yes, WB is the "bank" but Max was attached to the project separately and before WB was involved.
DMG books Adam's appearances on television, award shows, talk shows, etc.>> This is a shared responsibility. Who is responsible depends on the nature of the appearance or booking.

Well, that almost works. Don't think a cowboy would be caught dead on an English saddle. Who is looking at the saddle??? Oh, there's a horse there too. Probably just me, always the outlier. LoL.
