sorry i disagree here ,as an older woman ,i dont care how our culture looks at us ,i and many others will dress as we please , good on madonna ,she looks great, as does jlo and there are many young men who appreciate "older women " and the young audience member had a smile on his face ! We'll have to agree to disagree. IMO she has been there and done all that. I'm just saying I wish she show a different side now. Just like Gaga, time to move on and show she has singing chops. ETA: so happy to see Sasha continuing in her career an obviously succeeding. Well I have to say, my DH thought her performance was terrific. I also lamented she looked a little ridiculous, on the other hand she doesn't have nearly the vocal chops that Lady Gaga and Annie Lennox have. |

Good morning. I had expected Madonna was going to perform her "Ghosttown." But I enjoyed the "we are the baddest bitches at the club" dance song, too - a tried and true theme you could say, which checks a lot of boxes: obligatory use of the word "bitch," a featured rapper (Minaj), a cool collab (Diplo - which Madonna said impressed her kids), etc. I got the impression that that audience member might have known Madonna was going to grab him because everyone else was standing yet he stayed seated until she came over to him. I am not going to post my thoughts about how Madonna anf JLo dress sometimes, even though I'm kinda interested in that, enjoy reading others' views and thinking about my own. Too often I misunderstand what others post, feel others misunderstand me, blah, blah. Not fun, and most people are here for fun. I enjoy pop music and culture but I am only addicted to Adam. When I see that someone in radio has referred to Adam's GT as possibly "the song of the summer," tears almost jump to my eyes. If that comes true I will want to burst every time I hear the song on the radio, like the song was mine. Family members know I like him, they call him "your guy" to me - but no one knows the extent of how I think it would make me feel if he really got a number 1 song. Except maybe some of you. So, I am here to enjoy "The Original High" with other people who feel that or something similar and I am determined to stay out of trouble and not trouble others while I do.  |
