That pic of Adam with the girls is old by the way. It was from a few weeks ago when he hit several party spots in one night. March 21st. I am positive it was posted here then. Yes, it's old. We've seen it. It just linked by Gelly for shirt comparisons to the one hanging on the rack. LOL. Well, "Duh!" on me!!

Oh, I want to see and hear everything NOW! If you could click on this link -----fantasy link----- now and hear "Ghost Town", would you? If you could click on this link -----double fantasy link----- now and see the "Ghost Town" music video, would you? You bet, I would be clicking away! ETA: I have been off buried in work for days and have not had a moment to comment on the amazing job WB is doing with radio! In the past we were hoping that Adam's singles might get added to a radio station playlist. WB has stations tweeting in advance that that will be playing it!! Partly that is because of the Max Martin association, but this must also be a killa song!! So lovely to see a label doing their job!! The little voice in my head is saying... "OH! so thats what RCA was supposed to be doing!" LOL

They have been promoting it to radio personnel in the US for over 8 weeks, they have important stations' personalities making public statements about the song -- like Z100 and Q102 and Hot995, and they seem to be all over Mainstream Pop and HAC with it. Looks like they are going for a big opening week on radio! One thing we do not know is what station and who has the debut? Seems like it could be Z100 - Elvis Duran Show - which is over 75 stations. I have been in a bubble for a few days, do we have any clues? *** Also, I am betting this MV is out very close to the song release date.

I doubt Adam followed them & Elvis just for the iHeart red carpet interview! Is it a coincidence that the annual iHeart radio HUGE conference is in LA next week?

So lovely to see a label doing their job!! The little voice in my head is saying... "OH! so thats what RCA was supposed to be doing!" LOL Actually, what WB is doing with GT is highly unusual for any song, for any label. ETA: They started farther in advance of the release and they are pushing it hard.BUT if a label did this for a (JMHO YMMV totally lame and generic) song like BTIKM or NCOE, there would be no tweets and there would be no more adds than the song got. The reps can promote all day, but the product (song) must be great to get this kind of response. And a "great" pop song may not be to everyone's taste but listeners usually know them when they hear them the first time - "Royals", "Rollin' in the Deep", "Shake It Off", "Stay With Me", "Uptown Funk", "Firework", "Millionaire" ..... across genres, these are the songs you hear once and WANT to hear again and find yourself singing along with in the car. I type "Party In The USA" and you can hear that f'ing hook in your head.

**** The timing for this single release keeps getting better. Barry Manilow got married to his long-time partner and the only story is why is this a story!

What influence does the PR firm have in making 'positive' tweets happen.

What influence does the PR firm have in making 'positive' tweets happen. The radio personalities' tweets are related to what Warner Brothers is doing (the label) and not what Shoshanna is doing. The press reports and interviews are the responsibility of the PR firm (Shoshanna). Adam's management is responsible for keeping the overarching plan in place -- looking at the big picture. The different entities that form Adam's team work together and have meetings/conference calls to stay on the same page but since everyone has a separate and different role, it is pretty simple. A few examples: Attitude Magazine - Shoshanna Z100/Elvis tweet - WMG/Warner Brothers Records (Shoshanna would be involved in the interview with Elvis.) Music Video - WMG/Warner Brothers Records Deals with WMG and Max Martin/Shellback - DMG Overall Adam strategy and positioning - DMG
