Jablea I wrote to her on DA a second note to apologize to her for everything. I felt really bad after some tweets that were send to her.
You know you shouldn't be the one to apologize to her. But I get why you feel the need to do it. I think the person who use her arts should do it. And instead of take this a lesson to learn they use it to send some not nice tweets her? One of the side of fandom that I don't like. ANYWAY, it's good that this happened. It's a lesson to learn to everybody, especially the Glamberts who like to do create arts by using or incorporated someone else's arts and then send it to Adam. I'm only sorry that Adam has to be involved in the middle of this. I'm no artist but arts is like music, it is Intellectual Property. I hope someone let Adam knows and he will take down the picture and be done with and we can move on to the next lyrics of Ghost Town.
I am sure Adam will work it all out. And I agree, it gave me a moment to think about chasing down credits more carefully so I don't unwittingly create a problem. **** And moving on to lyrics. I was away most of last week. Did anyone figure out if the Sterling Fox post was GT lyrics?

LOL thanks for the advice but I beat you to that, long before I jumped into the conversation I went and looked at her work which is how I know she has multiple paintings of Disney characters on her site. She is an illustrator who uses other people's ideas/images and recreates them, almost exactly as the original version. This is a common practice between ilustrators using known characters and drawing them in your own style. She is doing that. Part of them are for learning purposes. This is not copying. Sorry, but IMO you are not doing Adam any favor trying to call her a copy cat. LMAO what? I'm on this site having a discussion between myself and some other people. I'm not out on twitter nor am I the one who went on Deviant Art and told her that Adam had used her work without permission, that was you, so it would seem it was you who did Adam no favors, not me.

I am excited that there are dancers on the set of the video. Must be some "house" in the thing somewhere unless they are just artistically crawling on the desert reaching for water Perrier in a mirage of old Hollywood led onwards to their ultimate lonely destruction by a ghostly whistle. Pretty sure we will get some real dance beats on that track after the bridge. But I wonder how the empty "Ghost Town" gets populated with dancers? Are they ghosts? I hope so...but that one radio person said they were expecting EDM types of dance beats after the bridge and got whistling. LOL. I'm still hoping for some "real dance beats" of some kind as well. So far, it appears these lyrics are the ones Sterling Fox posted. Of course they may or may not have been changed or altered or left alone. He has deleted his posting from his Google + account. The lyrics Adam posted today were not among those listed in that verse by Sterling Fox. Guess we need to add "now I'm searching for trust" to our list of collected lyrics posted by Adam.

If someone had used her work and then sold it as their own I could see the hoopla but that isn't what is happening here. it is fan art, which Adam saw and liked and I am sure he will comment accordingly...or he will take it down and any exposure she may have gained by him using it will be gone. That is called cutting your nose off to spite your face where I come from. If artists don't want their images used by random people they should only store it on locked sites where access is granted to registered members for a fee. The ghost town illustration was posted on the illustrator's site with a clear copyright statement and Google images has it labeled at copyrighted. While I do not think anyone intended to breach a copyright, the illustrator (Jessa Sininger) did everything correctly to protect her work. There were two errors here both unintended: 1. The modification and use of the illustration by a fan without permission or credit to the original source. (There is no "commercial use" requirement for breaching a copyright. So the idea that because it was not for sale matters is moot.) 2. Adam's use of the image on his Twitter account to promote a song (commercial use). It seems likely he thought it was something a fan created completely. I think it is great that artists (visual and audio) are willing to share their work online. But it is really important to credit people and to NOT breach copyrights. Hopefully, Adam will remove it from his Twitter account as soon as he becomes aware of the issue OR make provisions for use of the image. you should look back a few pages and see the chart posted. I am truly fascinated at your seeming expertise on every single subject Q3, can I inquire as to how you came to be so knowledgeable in almost every subject that comes up on this forum? My brain couldn't hold that much random information that's for sure

To introduce an additional subject - are there any speculations as to the plenty that will go on this week? - My only speculation is that when Shosh wrote "this week" she actually meant "next week"... I guess we can expect a few articles, someone has already said she was going to write on Monday, but do you think anything will happen apart from that? This will be THE week. We will get some online preview articles. More radio tweets. And I think finally get to hear "Ghost Town" at the end of the week. THEN next week on 4/21/15 at Midnight Eastern get to finally buy new music by Adam Lambert. no rollercoaster smiley but this will do!!! *I bolded part of Q3's post

They will materialize and dance their ghostly dance. What I want to see is Adam dancing his ass off with that toned, pilates-ized, pumped, bendy body of his. Yes, it would do me good.

Just wow at some of today's conversation... Just have to say I post a lot of photos on Instagram (with a watermark, although that's not foolproof)' and I'd be pretty annoyed to find out one of my photos had been used without my permission. I agree Adam got stuck in the middle here and although nobody had any bad intent, it has become an unnecessary distraction that I hope wIll quietly go away.
Anyhoo... I'm really looking forward to this coming week. It's so exciting (and a little scary) to know that Era 3 is really here! I was sure happy to find out about that Seattle 98.9 station - we don't live right in Seattle and only listen to the radio in the car, so my chance to hear Adam on the radio is limited, but I programmed that one in today, and I also signed up on their site for their newsletter (no age requested!), so my ears will be perked up this week and next!

Oh for god's sake don't you start blaming the artist for what happened!!! I can't... who is blaming her for what happened? According to the website, it was an assignment she did for a class in 2011, it's not even a piece of commercial art she has for sale. She should be credited for her work but IMO a bigger deal is being made out of it than it necessary. and people should stop going through google images and using the things they find there to make fan art. If it's not your original work then don't put it up on twitter. The Internet has completely and forever changed the idea of use - copyright laws are woefully behind the curve. If you are putting anything up online check out and use Creative Commons - it is a "copyright" protocol developed specifically for online age. Re this situation, yes artist can be upset and when or why the piece was created doesn't matter, however the way to handle it is to be nice not throw shame and blame around. People who have made exposure point are dead on. You might be the best artist ever but if I don't know about you I can't care about you, handled right this could have been a priceless opportunity with a win win for all... #carryon

I haven't seen a formal US radio adds date listed for Ghost Town yet. Out of curiosity, how do these things normally work in the US ? Do adds dates usually coincide with the sales release date or is it customary to have a gap? Do some singles proceed without ever having a specific adds date?
