The new black window in the stairwell used to be a mass of ugly glass block......... LOL at the potted plant in the corner of his BR. It looks like some of the landscaping in the back has grown in quite a bit since the older pics as well......... more privacy. I certainly would not call the glass block ugly, it is very in keeping with the style and period of the house. More than likely the cover is to control the heat coming in through that big glass. He did put up a security gate to block the entry to the front door though, smart boy - keep the looky lou crazies away. He replaced the glass block

Yes, he removed the glass block and installed the new black window. I liked the glass block...thought it went with the 1940s feel of the house. But, I imagine this is probably better with the sun and allows him to see out w/o others seeing in, etc.

ladymaserati8 wrote: Well, ladymaserati8, you started my day off with a big bunch of emotion. Thanks for posting those videos. I was watching The Voice, and was struck by how many of the contestants referenced "reaching," "engaging," "touching," the audience. With that in mind, watching the videos of Radio Gaga that you posted, I was so, well..., happy, and awestruck and proud, and moved, watching the audience response to Adam and Queen. Thinking how that feels to the audience, so wonderfully engaged, how it feels to Adam (goes way way back to the infinity tattoo) and how it felt to Roger and Brian and the band. Just a whole mass of feeling right there, all contained and supported and generated by music. Magic, I tell you, magic. And for me, your choice of videos captured that perfectly. That wide range view of the audience in the second video? Amazes me sometimes the depth of oneness that music can bring us. So, thanks, ladymaserati8, your post made me feel like this this morning:
You're very welcome, sweetheart!

haha.. I don't know what you guys talking about. I guess when the first time I saw the pictures of Adam's house I was just "ohh.. really nice .. love the garden, etc.. glad he has a house now". Didn't really pay attention on the details.

He replaced the glass block Nope, it is a cover. you can see the blocks behind it. The black glass is in sections..contoured for the arc. Trust me...lol.... the old was removed and for a period of time there was plywood in the hole. LOL.
