That was very interesting. I can often recognize Art Deco as an style, but never understood it before as an architecture. Thank you. YW, I love the art deco era. Rather breaks my heart to see the block window gone. Mr. Lambert I gotta bone to pick with you.

It was big and curved and was a focal point there by the street. In addition to being authenic to the house and period, it just looked better to me than the solid black glass. I'm sure it serves a function or maybe Adam thought it "modernized" the house some....but aesthetically to me it looks out of place. JMHO

I like your list! For the single release -- > Buy the single from iTunes -- it is what the industry and media looks at. > Preorder the album somewhere else -- like from Adam's official store. > Stream the single on Spotify > Do 4, 5, 6, 7 For the album release, during the first week the album is on sale. > Buy tracks (not the album) from iTunes > Buy the album somewhere else if you need additional copies or did not preorder > Stream album tracks on Spotify > Do 4, 5, 6, 7 After the album is released, is it important to not buy all the tracks on iTunes? Also regarding iTunes - If I buy one of the album tracks shortly after the album is released, and then later that song is released as a single, can I purchase the song again on iTunes on the release day, or will my early purchase prevent it from being counted? Would it make sense to purchase the album from Adam's official store, any "single" from iTunes on release day, and other individual tracks from Amazon? If an album track is released as a single on iTunes after the album is released, you can buy it again and it will count on the iTunes chart. There will be two tracks on the iTunes charts -- Hit Song (album track) and Hit Song (single track). The sales for both tracks will be combined by Billboard. BUT radio PDs and consultants, and the media, and fans, and music buyers mostly only pay attention to iTunes. For fans who are power buying -- vs. normal people: You can have the biggest impact buying singles and tracks from iTunes (all but one track from the album and never opt to "complete the album"), buy MP3s from Amazon, gift tracks. If you want the album buy it from Adam's store or buy the CD from a retailer. > On iTunes -- you also can buy some tracks than gift the album if you use two unrelated accounts on two different devices that are not connected in "Apple world". You must never put the two sets of files together. > You can buy CDs and digital albums and give them to people, just don't buy a lot from the same retailer. A lot appears to be <5. If you want 15 CDs from a real retail store, just buy them at a few different times. Nielsen will discard bulk purchases and they will not count for Billboard. *** For now -- buy the single from iTunes. The email from WBs clearly tells fans that they want the preorders to go to Adam's store.

I admit, I'm very lost here, so many threads....Where should I be posting this please..? Thanks There is a new thread for every day and all the threads have the days date. Go to the front page and click on Daily News and Information. The top thread is the current thread and just go there and post. It does take a while to find your way around. Welcome! If you are having problems, you can click on my name and then click on send message and I will respond as soon as I can.

I admit, I'm very lost here, so many threads....Where should I be posting this please..? Thanks I set my bookmark to adamtopia.com/posts/recent which is all the recent posts everywhere on the forum. But you read backwards, ie the most recent post is first. I like it because I see everything including conversations in the non-news threads but other people prefer to read each day starting at what we call Page 1 each day as Stardust said. To do that bookmark adamtopia.com/board/13/daily-news-information and each day scroll down to the daily news area and pick the current day which should be on top. The daily thread usually changes around midnight eastern time. Oh, and welcome to the board.
