One word challenge - Thank you for participating, we have a pretty good list already: - incredulous - dauntless - brewing - imminent - focused - determined - unstoppable - challenging - ......So Adam is at a party. He has words with someone. He goes outside to cool off. The other person follows him out. This is the look the other person gets as they approach Adam. - Adam is in a ghost town, alone. he hears a sound, he turns, slowly... - dominator - What --- ----? - en francais - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Lilly, what's that in Scottish, pls?) - defiant - bemused - really?? - chill - provoking - confidence - alpha - fearless - sceptical - brooding - flirtatious - This was fun! And I sure don't want to discourage any further entries. I will add them as they come. The reason I started it, was, because Adam is looking straight at us, and he is clearly thinking something, but there is no judgement. I think, many people, if photographed at that angle, would come across in that way. There is a hint of amusement, more so in his eyes than his mouth actually, but it is not like he has a grin or any sign of sarcasm on his face. Nope, he just takes note of the situation, throws back a little bit of ' are you for realz? ' at the viewer. And given that he is looking straight at me, yup, there is a certain provocation thrown out, in a pleasant, yet assertive way. Calling us out on our b/s, is what I get from him...at least I feel called out. The art, both on the side of the photographer, as well as the model, to capture such a moment, to make this picture so rich, multi-layered, interesting and provoking, is fascinating to me. It also speaks to the character acting, Adam is capable of. With the slightest touch of some mimics, he is capable to say so much. Indeed, less is more, I am grateful to be part of the journey. ETA: .... the boss said 'b&w'......, so I 'updated' my look. Yes, he can give me that 'for realz - dirty look for that, lol. Alright by me. And I see, that I need to add a few new entries, to my list. Will do that next. |

Yay....just got my email from Adam via WBR. Only took several days and 3 re-sign-ups. lol. (I know Q3 told us to be patient and they were probably emailing in batches.....but I don't do patient very well)

Wonder if AFL will be out and about tonight and we'll get some pics? The wait must be killing him more than us, for sure. |
