This Sterling Fox is something. He is only part-owner of the song, yet treating like it is his own, and usurping it from Adam. If I were Adam, he would not be in my future!!!!! Whore-hound. I did not know who Sterling Fox is and so I looked him up and found a recent online article in which he talks about Adam's upcoming single in a way that gave me a real WTF moment: RYL: Which is the latest song you wrote that hasn’t been released yet ?
Sterling Fox: I wrote a song called “Ghost Town” that Adam Lambert is releasing as a single in a few weeks. I really love that song, so I’m also going to throw out a rock version at some point around then as well – kind of like an alternate interpretation of it. Both should be out in the next month. We don't know for sure that he expressed his co-ownership of the song with those exact words — how many times have Adam's words been misquoted in articles? — but the fact that he intends to release his own version close to Adam's release date paints him in a very negative light. What an opportunistic a-hole!

I'll be curious to see how or if WB deals with this...I have to believe they have some pretty high-octane legal talent and to allow this person to go rogue on what seems to be a very organized rollout doesn't add up. You would think they would have all kinds of contracts in place to prevent this.

Soonish.....we've discussed Sterling Fox here over the past few weeks. Seems like he posted recently that his version was rock and wouldn't be out until summer. Can't remember his exact words. I think the jury is still out on Mr. Fox. IMO

I sincerely hope twitter doesn't blow this S.Fox thing out of proportion. SF only has approximately 2300 followers and no one will know anything unless Adam fans on twitter push it. SF certainly doesn't have the capacity to make a dent.

I wish I could remember... there was a whole discussion about this days back. He sort of clarified what he meant by that statement. I'll see if I can find it for you.

For right now, we might as well continue to flail about the 21st!

soonish, we have hashed over Mr AssFox & his interviews a few days ago. About him singing it at his own gig. It is very possible he sang his own song "Ghost" and this person did not know the difference.

Soonish the board won't let me search right now. I wouldn't worry about it. By the end of the discussion, I didn't feel like it was a big issue. It will end up sounding like a cover and if I recall correctly his follow up comments didn't claim full credit.
