LOL, right? I literally woke up in the middle of the night last night with "...and now I know my heart is a ghost town" echoing throughout my brain. I am so excited about this song. I have to admit that on first listen, it kind of left me speechless. Despite the teasers we'd been given, I truly didn't expect the complete song to sound like it does. It took me a few times through, but now it's tied with "Runnin'" and "Shady" for being my favorite Adam song. What's interesting to me is that although GT doesn't sound anything like WWFM, it strikes me a tad the same way in its deceptive simplicity. Both songs are fairly scant on lyrics (although opposite in that WWFM is lighter lyrically during the verses and heaver during the chorus, and GT switches that up), yet both evoke a certain depth in emotion absent in most pop songs. My fingers are crossed that GT performs at least as well as WWFM. Adam deserves it! We're obviously not alone in thinking this; the support and roll-out he's been given are outstanding! I'm so impressed with his label and PR support thus far! |

I am getting very anxious to hear the rest of TOH -- the song titles are intriguing and I just want to hear MORE ADAM! I've pre-ordered on Amazon and I-Tunes and have been streaming Spotify throughout the day. I'm listening to my local I-Heart station when I'm in the car -- cannot believe the number of commercials. I have to say, I'm not as rabid as I imagined that I would be over this release. I only listen to GT maybe once or twice a day. I don't want to burn out on it. I continue to be amazed at how long the "hit cycle" takes. One thing I have noticed is that there are a lot of really decent songs out right now. To know that Adam is in that mix and doing well is very exciting. I play the YT video a lot with the sound muted. That way I can contribute and watch a movie online at the same time. Hadn't even thought of that - what a great idea! |

Oooops, I just drove my DH out of the house. I have had GT on repeat on Spotify for approximately one hour. I just had this overwhelming knowledge come over me that this is it for Adam. All his dreams are coming true. Also, everything we have all wanted for him is happening. Felt a panic attack coming on and had to stop and breathe for awhile. Not invested much in this man.... Now I am starting GT on repeat with his lyric video. 1,000,000 by Sunday!!!! Beautiful flower! I was so used to the other one I was surprised to see that this was you! |
