Could somebody tell me where is this 'local files' located? TAOG Party Central glambertparty 27m27 minutes ago For those streaming Ghost Town on Spotify make sure you turn off 'local files' or it won't count for Billboard  |

Hi guys! I have had a very difficult time and hadn't have possibility to be at forum about 4 weeks. When I came back from Thailand I got very, very sick and I had to be at the hospital 4 weeks, over one week at the intensive care. But now I'm home and two presents were waiting for me: 1) I could listen to the "Ghost Town" in peace. I outburst in tears when I hear it for the first time. It is so good and I'm so happy for Adam. 2) In my email box there was a nice message from the Argentinian gentleman whom I get to know at the MSG concert. He has found the video on Youtube! The exact moment in which Brian May salutes us: Video credit: Laurie S One hilarious comment under the vid: "I Freakin Love that short grey haired lady in behind" My Argentinian gentleman friend said: When I've seen it I felt really good! I thought that part of the show was a dream, but now we've got the proofs! Adam's Ghost Town, a message from your Argentinian gentleman, and a QAL MSG video with you in the audience, I'd say that's three lovely homecoming gifts! Many years ago, my neighbor visited her missionary son and his family in Thailand. All I remember from our Thailand conversation is that the days were very hot and her son had poison frogs in the backyard! Hope you didn't meet any poison frogs! Stay well!!! |

I never clicked on them so do I assume they are off? Hate being so dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

TAOG Party Central glambertparty 27m27 minutes ago For those streaming Ghost Town on Spotify make sure you turn off 'local files' or it won't count for Billboard If you are not sure if you are actually streaming - disconnect from the network and see if the song is still playing. Obviously you want it to stop = streaming. ETA: To disconnect from the network - turn your air port off if wireless and/or take the ethernet cable out if you are on LAN. |

I am tearing my hair out with Rdio. I set it up, chose Ghost Town and then hit play and it automatically creates a station "for me" rather than just playing the damn song so I can hit the repeat button. It won't let me delete all of the stupid songs they keep loading and I have yet to be able to play Ghost Town. I just deleted the whole mess but really want another stream source other than Spotify which I FINALLY learned how to play one song on repeat on my Mac but I can't duplicate it on my iPad. I did not think I was THAT technically challenged! >:(  |

“Ghost Town,” Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert doesn't sound like himself on “Ghost Town,” a new track that follows the Avicii template of combining folky Americana with dance club beats. The lead single from Lambert's next album The Original High, “Ghost Town” opens as an intimate ballad with sparse instrumentation and heavy reverb. Then, the song veers off as electronic bloops arrive and turn the tune into a dance song. Then, it's back to acoustic guitar and quiet verses before the dance beats return later. It's a somewhat odd arrangement, but Lambert is comfortable in both worlds and pulls it off competently. Rating: 8
