29 mins later and its 613,439 now. About +6k. Need some more pace for it to really speed up I think. I'm wondering something else by the way. With all the airplay and promotion the single is getting now I don't see a huge impact in the US on the iTunes charts. According to that kworb site the single is on #141 now. Even the Netherlands has a higher position with #81 with almost no promo (they did play WWFM this evening on Q-music and might have mentioned the new single as well). Can someone explain to me why this might be? The album is the other way around though. ETA: Another 6 mins later and the number is 616,333 All what airplay? Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like you Do' has over 18,000 spins this week. Not sure what GT's spins were so far (IIRC less than 100), but it needs a lot more time and spins to start moving up any chart. Well it got more attention than here in the Netherlands at least. We've had 0 promo and maybe it got played 2-3 times today (1 time I know for sure at 6.14 AM this morning). But I guess on the big country of the USA that's still a small piece of the pond. I saw some of those stat's earlier today. Ghost Town had almost 480k impressions with 26 plays on one day it said on the 2nd day of being out. I got no idea what impressions are though. I also saw that Ellie Goulding's in the same period had 21 million impressions with 2.986 plays. That's quite a difference indeed. Hi guys! I have had a very difficult time and hadn't have possibility to be at forum about 4 weeks. When I came back from Thailand I got very, very sick and I had to be at the hospital 4 weeks, over one week at the intensive care. But now I'm home and two presents were waiting for me: 1) I could listen to the "Ghost Town" in peace. I outburst in tears when I hear it for the first time. It is so good and I'm so happy for Adam. 2) In my email box there was a nice message from the Argentinian gentleman whom I get to know at the MSG concert. He has found the video on Youtube! I thought that part of the show was a dream, but now we've got the proofs! I loved that video of you at the QAL concert-you looked so joyous I could hardly take my eyes off you--and that's really saying something when Adam is right there doing his thing!! That's twice I've heard Toby Knapp play Ghost Town on Hot 99.5, which I believe is two times more than he ever played either BTIKM or NCOE. So I'm liking our chances this time around!

So those of you Down Under are going to get it 4 days earlier than us in the Frigid North? Wonder if they will release? I wonder if they will stream it on one of Adam's sites for those 4 days to at least get the hits added to some chart that makes an impact. |
