1) Does it mean that the adds are not panning out yet? Or are they?
I have no feel for radio numbers yet...it's been too long since we did this....
2) Q3 posted GT at #33 on the POP Digital Songs BB charts (news thread) - How would you rate this? Is this placement in line with the radio spins? Over-performing? Under-performing?

From the Hot 100 thread at Pulse I believe these are combined Aud Imp numbers from all formats which go in to the Hot 100 points
4/30 ADAM LAMBERT - Ghost Town: 4.984 (+ 0.342)
5/1 ADAM LAMBERT - Ghost Town: 5.346 (+ 0.362)
Since as far as we know he's only in CHR HAC (any play in AC is pretty insignificant right now)then we can subtract the HAC AI number to approximate what the CHR AI is.
So for 5/1
Overall 5.346 - HAC 2.358 = Approx CHR 2.988

While checking the non-regular charts for current Idol/Voice contestants, I noticed Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” charted on the Pop Digital Chart debuting at 33

Is this placement in line with the radio spins? Over-performing? Under-performing? I think given how long it has been since he's had any real presence at radio this is off to a pretty good start. Even though the sales numbers are lower than BTIKM the initial radio response has been WAY better. BTIKM did not have a radio impact date until it had been out a bit and it barely made #50 in CHR and that wasn't until the end of March a full 3 months after release and after a long radio promo tour. This song 1st week spins are 10 below BTIKM peak spins in CHR. At this point just remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. Now the song needs to build and is is starting from a much better position than either of the singles from the last album. |
