Moonstone @moonst0ne @adamlambert 's #GhostTown is a stunning, sexy, mesmerizing masterpiece! I'd be up dancing but I think I forgot how to breathe! AlohaPF alohaPoor Adam. His heart is a #GhostTown and he’s forced to wear dark designer clothes and dance with a bunch of hip, young wildlings.

SOOOO SEXY - Beautiful Writhing Bodies!! For the non Adam Fanatic I think this will be very appealing! You may be right.... In many ways, the MVs are indeed made to attract the more casual viewer - all the (flashes of) beautiful, writhing bodies may well appeal but almost every other vid out there does that kind of thing better, more watchable, more explicitly... But they should also have had more opportunity to find Adam appealing, too... IMHO the more casual viewer or potential new fan would FIND little NEW engagement with Adam as we know him, in this little film. I respectfully disagree. I got the music video played at a big club here on an otherwise boring Tuesday night. I wanted to see it big. I think I was the only Adam fan in attendence. Median age looks to be <30 and people loved it, and my friends think Adam is "gorgeous". They are replaying it for the 4th time. Everyone is impressed -- particularly with the song, the beat, Adam and the dancers. They want the remix -- NOW. >> While I am not sure there is anything new here -- in the song or the video -- Adam is new to many people. It all seems familiar but new, enticing but safe. Probably perfect for the US. >> Ohio (where I am) is a bell weather for the US. It is the center for marketing research because it is so "normal". And my little experiment indicates that this is a hit.

Wow - read a bunch of your reactions first - had no idea what to expect. I. LOVE. IT. And I am probably the most non-pop loving person here It's stylin' and totally suits the visions I have of Hollyweird. And it's a totally Adam vid - LOL - people love it or hate it. I think it will do very well.

I just wish I could have seen adam dance more. I suspect he has far more talent than the average person. His view is skewed since has friends that professionally dance.

I see there is a significant number of people who hate the video. Sorry you feel that way. That being said I will take myself off the thread. I have to build tomorrow's Page 1 but I think I have all the links needed so I shouldn't have to dive in to the discussion. Just don't want to harsh my happy over this era. I've no doubt Adam is happy with it. I would hope that you guys who hate it will at least play it without watching it and muted so Adam will get good numbers on the video.

My favorite Adam vid is FYE. The literal " story" ones (BTIKM and NCOE)were easily accessible to a reader who superimposed the narrative context to those more literal takes on the lyrics.
This one requires less of a narrative context and more of an image/impression/" life in a flash dream" sequence. That speed while it could be jarring also pushes/helps the danci-ness club style impression. Given madonna's more post- apocalyptic story arc, I think this one provides an evocative ghostly impression. I think it is more open to personal interpretation. jMHO ymmv, etc.
ETA: if I had to choose between an earth-shattering vid and the great, gonzo adds from today, I'll take the adds!
