Hi everyone! I received word/a request that we now exclusively stream Ghost Town's music video ... and to NOT stream the lyric video. I've tweeted that a couple times, but since the lyric video keeps increasing and mainly only mega fans care about lyric vids, I wanted to make sure everyone here knew what was preferred, too. If you're in contact with anyone who can do anything about it, maybe you could suggest that they change the thumbnail for the GT music video. It might help increase interest if they put up a different, more appealing or intriguing and dynamic thumbnail---something to distinguish it from a lyric video that doesn't include the singer. It's been noted here that people seeking out the song on YouTube are likely to click on the video that is listed first or the video with the most views when they can't tell much difference between the two, when they can't tell at a glance, without reading the description, that one of them is the actual music video and features Adam. That's a very good point ... thanks! I've passed that thought along. We'll see if they change it. I understand what they were trying to do visually with the look, but they are too similar and the music video thumbnail should show Adam's face. It doesn't need to look like what is strictly a title page.

Oh boy! Adam keeps me busy and happy! I love it!
That is a great screen shot. So intense.

748K + If it keeps going, we will be close to 800k by midnight but if it slows way down as usual, we might stay stuck just below or just above. Still, that keeps us on track for 1 million by Tuesday night - one week after release.
Since Billboard counts both MV and Lyric, is that a good total for 2 weeks? I recall someone saying BTIKM had big numbers on the MV. Though the song didn't catch on, that was an awesome concept and executed MV.

Unfortunately, maybe one reason the music video isn't getting as many repeat views from casual fans or curiosity seekers is because of the flashing lights. It doesn't bother my eyes, but several people in the comments have said that the flashing is troublesome for them. Of course, that's just as likely offset by the number of people who watch repeatedly to try to catch a glimpse of the images that go by so quickly.
This ^^ Every time I go to YT and google Ghost Town, the lyric video always listed first then the official music video.

Can't really compare because that video didn't come out until song had been out a while and was getting radio play. By the time the video came out the song was at #37 on HAC and he was well in to active promo. This video came out only a week after the song and the lyric video were released and he hasn't done a whole lot of promo yet. A lot of articles were still linking to the lyric video even after the music video came out.

It will need around 13k per hour to reach 800k by midnight.

I have literally given up days of time playing Adam's Ghost Town. Amazingly I just love it more with each play.. I will go to the wall until it reaches 1,000,000. I do believe my DH and my dogs Natasha and Boris yearn for a new song... but not me I JUST LOVE GT.. WE can get to 800 by tonight..
