To all of you who have lost supportive and loving women in your life, I wish you peace and lovely memories. This is my first Mother's Day without my mom and it is not easy. I'm so sorry for your loss.. The first Mother's Day without my Mom was very painful.. I wrote her a long Mother's Day letter expressing my love for her.. I still have the letter after 29 years and read it from time to time and have a bit of a cry.. Holding your hand spiritually  and sending you hugs and a big kiss. Thank you so much. I was very touched by your story about your mom.  |

He says "trap light" - I wonder if that's the Edge of the Night song. Or maybe even the Lucy w Brian May. Album sounds really sonically interesting. And singing in a lower register. Nice. Another thing he says in the earlier Wango Tango interview is that he's worked with Sia. When was that? Wow -- a Trap "lite" song?!?!?! If that is the song with Brian May on it, some Queen fans' heads are gonna explode. I am not sure what he means by calling it lite -- but I think that might me less hat, less aggressive, but the same beat. That could be. In previous interviews Adam always describe the song "Lucy" as a song with hiphop beat and with Brian's guitar and guitar solo in it. Now hopefully the new guitarist/music director can play the part with Brian's guitar solo when he perform "Lucy" live  .

My former student, Jesse Lozano, flew up to LA after the interview in San Diego, and did that wonderful interview at Wango Tango with Adam. Didn't you all think he did a really nice job-so relaxed, friendly and respectful towards Adam? Never could I have predicted that the little boy who sat in my 5th grade classroom would one day grow up to know-- and casually chat with the musician who stole my heart 6 years ago! What a magically, wonderful world we live in!!! He was fabulous!! I loved him. I even commented to someone watching with me, how much I liked this DJ! I'm happy you responded so positively to Jesse's interview. I plan to write him another letter thanking him for doing such a good job---but don't worry,Patti, I won't be including one of those "Good Job!" stickers that he probably remembers getting on his work "way back when!" Ha Ha---- |
