5.2.11 Adam News & Information

I use Firefox so am not completely sure. But Chrome works better. I'm pretty sure it is identical to my Droid. Here's how I set up Adam's timeline on my Droid. Google calls it a "timeline" rather than a "feed". See if this works for you.

I click on someone's name under their tweet. Brings me to a list (tweets, followers, following, etc) and then I click on tweets. Now I
have their tweets on my screen. A bar appears on the bottom "Add Column", and I click it. On the Droid (and in Chrome) you can also set up customized alerts. When Adam tweets I have WWFM play so I know it's him.

These are the instructions for the Droid. You can also click on the help icon on the upper right of your opened TD. It is the "?" icon. This will open the help and you can type in your question, i.e., "how do I get a timeline" or something like that. TD webpage will then open and you can do your search. They also give @chrome to ask for help. They are pretty good with help. If not, I will ask for you. I am friendly with one of the tech's.

This may sound complicated, but it is well worth it. I am absolutely married to TweetDeck. I can't wait to get a new computer and have all the custom set-ups from Chrome that are available on my Droid.

edit: the diff bet a timeline and a search is that you get all adam's tweets, even his tweets that are to people you don't follow.

Anybody knows about this?

Speaking of less happy RL news, Chunkey, you ought to tweet that link about PM's ridiculous plan to ban same-sex kissing to the LambritsUK. Ridonkulous.

But, back to Rakastan: I was all "Awww, Sauli's sitting on his lap!" Shiny happy people!

And I saw a tweet suggesting that Adam has a new and special ring on the ring finger of his left hand--you can see it in pic of him and Sauli and in the pic where he's on the right clasping other guys hand. Ninjas--what do you think?

Jamie, love that Beatles song! Happy makes me sappy sometimes and I don't even care! I like to wallow in the sappy happy on occasions like this!

There was some angsting going on and (WHO? TESS? what happened to Tess?) posted maybe we all needed to just yell FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK--and the rest of the day was total "fucking" mayhem. Page after page of funny (and clever) fucking posts. Anybody else recall that amazing day?

So sad that a few of those days/threads weren't saved somewhere. So GLAD so many of us (and so many wonderful new friends) are still around here at Atop!

Wish I had the skillz to do that MWP--then I could repay you for your most beautiful post last night re OBL news. You spoke my mind and heart--better than I could've. Thanks for that.
