Because if you look at HDD building chart, the top ten adds are showing up with #10 at 8 adds. Where is the HDD building chart? I couldn't find it on the mediabase site but then, I am not familiar with all its ins and outs. It's not on Mediabase, it on the Hits Daily Double site. Here: HDD

Geez. How many Nicki Minaj songs do we really need on the radio?
For a crappy song Pretty Girls sure does grab the oxygen. It will get shoved down people's throats and they will nod and click like automatons. Such a strange world. Only for Adam! I better not go to radio stations. I would be outed immediately.

If the adds are low, are we assuming this is part of the WBR strategy to slow it down a bit?

If the adds are low, are we assuming this is part of the WBR strategy to slow it down a bit? There are probably many reasons the slow down can occur (of course, this is just my opinion, and what do I know): 1) Many of the early adders have already added. 2) Many stations will wait until GT gets into the top40 before they add. Some stations will not add a song until it gets to the top 20 (Cumulus did that for WWFM). 3) If WB has stopped pushing so hard, some stations may wait until offered a few perks. 4) If WB is concerned that GT has risen too fast, that can request stations slow it down a little. It has shot up the charts amazingly fast! If the plan is to not release any more singles, they would definitely want GT to peak about the time the album releases. 5) It is interesting that some of the big stations (such as Z100NYC and Q102 Philly) have not added and they may be waiting for something . This roll-out is like a choreographed dance (we can only wait and believe!!!) They know what they are doing!
