Don't be discouraged. It appears that Adam and his team have one and only one focus right now -- get "Ghost Town" on US Pop Radio. With Z100 stating to play GT and KIIS playing very regularly, it is looking good here. They will apparently pivot to the big three markets in Europe in June (UK, France and Germany). But they have pretty much been ignoring NZ, Canada and AU. So you have company. >> The are doing this in a very normal way for a US artist -- focus on US radio first. >> The goal appears to be to sell albums. Not to get radio airplay. At least that is my take. I cannot completely explain why they had Adam do interviews in NZ and AU, but are not really focusing any promo effort on these markets. But they are not. I feel bad for Canada, he's not even doing interviews in Canada. Thanks Q3! I guess we just hoped/expected more - especially after radio was so quick to play it the day after release here.... Will try not to angst too much and just sit back and enjoy what is happening on US radio! (which is bluddy brilliant!!!!) Sosh told fans to follow Adam and to watch Adam. I am. Adam is very, very happy. So I am very, very happy. And, yes, I think the strategy is very simple. US Radio first. Everything else after that. "Ghost Town" is being played on KIIS-FM and on their playlist. "Ghost Town" is being played by Z100 and likely to be added to their playlist. If both stations are on board with GT, it will at list get into the 20's on US Top 40 Radio -- maybe higher. The best Adam ever did was WWMF hit #13 on US Top 40 Radio. *** Counter is working on the Britney/Iggy Azalea music video -- close to 4 million in <24 hours.

The Ghost Town music video and the lyric video both just updated! Yes, quite a big jump also. The remixes and Ellen haven't updated though.

I've just traveled 9 hours from France to Southern Italy, and I heard Madonna's Ghost Town played 3 times on the radio, but not Adam's once...

Well the MV just updated - 1,466,115 Yes, another view count adjustment. New update 1,466,115 Six hours ago 1,442,352 + 23,763 + 3,961 /hour This adjustment was smaller than then last on but it was a smaller window. And these counts indicate it was a view quality review, just like the last freeze. Thanks to 4Ms for tracking the view count so well which let me calculate the rates.

If someone has locked their Twitter account, please do not copy it here without permission. People lock their accounts because they do not want it published all over the web. I had forgotten that chuncky's account was locked. !. The tweet would not embed because it was locked. 2. Chunky's tweet was actually a retweet of a tweet from an account that was not locked and I simply posted the original source tweet. But I assume you are using this as an example to remind folks to respect the privacy of locked accounts. Point taken. On yes, just a reminder. I sometimes forget too.

For anyone who was sad that Adam was not part of the Idol finale. It appears to have been a wise choice. The ratings were not good and worse in the demo (18-49). >> This is total viewers, demo (age 18-49) rating/share and rank among network programs for the half hours. There are 5 networks in the US so that is #3 out of 5. >> Ratings and share are percentages not flat numbers. A 4.4 household rating/8 share means that 4.4% of all households (that is to say homes with a TV set, not total number of people) watched the indicated program, while among those households watching TV at the time 8% of them watched. Translation -- this was NOT a place to be if you want to be a pop star.FOX American Idol (8-10PM) – Season Finale 1.6/5 7.74 8:00PM Viewers: 6.66 million (#3), A18-49: 1.4/ 5 (#3)
8:30PM Viewers: 7.22 million (#2), A18-49: 1.5/ 5 (#3)9:00PM Viewers: 8.24 million (#1), A18-49: 1.7/ 5 (#2) 9:30PM Viewers: 8.83 million (#1), A18-49: 1.8/ 6 (#2) 10:00PM Viewers: 7.96 million (#1), A18-49: 1.7/ 5 (#1) [Local programming, not network] All network TV is struggling. Here is The Voice Semifinal Results on Tuesday May 13th. · “The Voice” (2.1/7 in 18-49, 9.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +11% versus last week’s 1.9 rating in these prelim fast-affiliate results in adults 18-49 and by +5% versus last week’s 2.0 in official nationals. In total viewers, “The Voice” is up +3% versus last week’s fast-affil result (8.976 million vs. 8.753 million). · “The Voice” is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos. · “The Voice” will generate significant additional viewership via time-shifting -- Originals of Tuesday’s “Voice” have grown by +25% in 18-49 rating this season (from a 3.28 to a 4.09) and 2.1 million viewers overall (12.4 million to 14.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
