I just got this in an email from one of my best friends and just HAD to share it! It's hilarious! Enjoy!
My Living Will
Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them,
“I never want to live in a vegetative state, depending on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.”
They got up, unplugged the computer and threw out my wine!!
The little bastards!!

rama many many people on twitter (including me) sent him the link and we also retweeted other people's tweets to him in order to see the link. I really hope he sees it. He always says how much Aftermath means to him and I think it will make him happy.

needacoke thanks for the update about bamafan. She has good friends and relatives and this a good thing in hard times like this one. Thanks for the update. I did text her few words just wishing her well and tell her she's in our thoughts and prayers. When Hurricane Wilma came through Ft.L I was without electricity for 16 days, no cell phone for 14 days, towers down. You may THNK you know what a "quick shower" is, but until you have no hot water, you don't. Squeeling seems to help, but still, those 60 seconds seem like an eternity. I had an ex-Marine next door and he said the best thing to do is to stick one leg in, wash it, then the other, then one arm, then another, then jump in and do the rest in that 60 seconds. Hair got done in sink !!! The up side was we sat outside with the neighbors every night and talked or looked at the stars we could never see before. Also, no damage, just inconvenience. Huge difference. LOL I forgot to tell y'all what Bamafan said about her shower. LOL Like in a lot of old houses where the tub/shower is on an outside wall, there are windows above the tub/shower. That's how hers is. She said the window, frame and all, blew in about 6 inches into the tub area. They put a shower curtain over it on the inside and can still take a shower. hehe She was really laughing about that. |
