Let's see - what to comment on? Just another boring day in Lambertville (a real town in NJ btw). NOT. I've been here & there and in & out all day and trying to catch up with his very entertaining tweets. Whatta guy. He tweets with laser-like precision.
Pastababy - Loved you account of your Katri/Sauli meeting. Ignore the jellies. What do you think they'd give to be able to do what you do in fabulous Manhattan?
Good news about bamafan! Sounds as though she's making lemonade out of lemons.

One more thing - I think gelly is gone, but I felt just as she did about the photos of Adam & Sauli. Each one had its deliciousness. One was beautifully artistic and the other was so real and showed his lovely freckled arm! Kept them both!
I hate when I have to run to catch up and then end up with one of these potpourri posts - a little of everything. Not very interesting.

A I would have to say playing with Adam [Lambert] is amazing. He's just an incredible performer, vocalist. Just on a purely vocal level it's astonishing. He gives me the chills when I'm playing for him. |

needacoke thanks for the update about bamafan. She has good friends and relatives and this a good thing in hard times like this one. Thanks for the update. I did text her few words just wishing her well and tell her she's in our thoughts and prayers. When Hurricane Wilma came through Ft.L I was without electricity for 16 days, no cell phone for 14 days, towers down. You may THNK you know what a "quick shower" is, but until you have no hot water, you don't. Squeeling seems to help, but still, those 60 seconds seem like an eternity. I had an ex-Marine next door and he said the best thing to do is to stick one leg in, wash it, then the other, then one arm, then another, then jump in and do the rest in that 60 seconds. Hair got done in sink !!! The up side was we sat outside with the neighbors every night and talked or looked at the stars we could never see before. Also, no damage, just inconvenience. Huge difference. I was without electric for 11 days. I have to say what I missed the most was my morning coffee!! There was a 7-11 near my house that had electric, so every morning I would go stand in line for what seemed hours because they had coffee!! (Oh, thank heaven for 7-11) :D |
