This applies to how I feel about Adam going on a little vacation vs diving into writing and recording his #2. The album is important but so is having a life. Next it will be # 3 then # 4. Right now Adam has found someone he enjoys spending time with and he hasn't had that for a while. Good for him for being brave and smart enough not to put that on the back burner. It is possible to have it all and I think he would like to try. How many people do you know who put things off thinking there will be the perfect time? There is never a perfect time in most of our lives. Men and now women work too hard and don't spend time with their children so they can give them a better life. That is a noble goal but by the time the parents realize the repercussions the kids are grown and don't have time or the inclination to go with the folks to the beach or camping or even to a movie. The only time you have is now and how you use it is up to you. One of the things I love best about Adam is that he seems to understand that and works very hard but also now that he has a record, a tour, and a Grammy nomination under his belt he knows that he needs a personal life with some substance also. Aspen, I loved your post! I think it's important for Adam to LIVE and not just work. The key is to find a right balance. He's brave to explore a new relationship at this stage, but I think it's in his nature to be in a relationship rather than hunting down one-night-stands. Plus, easier to handle imagewise. I'm really finding this Sauli, the trip etc. a very good thing. They seem to be on a same page on how to handle things, like equal partners. I do not feel this relationship (or whatever it should be called) is taking anything away from Adam, on the contrary. I believe, that Sauli and the discussions they have (in English... LOL) will serve as a great sounding board in terms of Adam#2. |

How can they not realize that it is the whole man who has captured the fans' loyalty? He is the consummate performer, he works hard on and off the stage, he nurtures contacts both personal and professional, he understands the music industry and what you have to do to stay relevant, and he is so charismatic that people are automatically drawn to him, and when you are drawn to him, he rewards you with a smile, a wink, or some other ridiculousness that guarantees that you will be in his galaxy for the duration. Nothing against James Durbin, but PLEASE ! |

I don't see anything wrong with what he says about being gay. He worded it poorly but he's basically saying mind your own business. |

OK, there has GOT to be a better, easy-to-use laughing smiley than this creepy-looking upper-lip-flapping one--->  I mean, if Q3 is maybe going to add several more for this forum, can they be permanently imported from smiley websites like the ones I always use??--->    Or, even this one is better than the creepy guy--->  |
