omg.yahoo.com/news/top-5-dream-collaborations-in-mainstream-music/566994. Adam Lambert and Katy Perry Katy Perry, 26, is that hot pop singer with lots of attitude and energy. Wouldn't it be exciting to team her up with Adam Lambert, 29? When the camera flashed on Lambert at the 2011 Grammy Awards, chances are you hadn't seen much of him before that. He didn't perform at the Grammys, pass out an award at the Grammys, and even though "Whataya Want From Me" was up for a Grammy, it didn't win. However, Lambert has got a terrific voice and style and to do a collaboration with the pop princess Katy Perry, who gets plenty of face time, would be good for Adam and Katy. Not sure that would be in Katy's best interests. Vocally, Adam would blow her out of the water, and she's in a pretty shallow pool as it is.

Maybe Adam won a trip with airfare and this entire romantic weekend is a freebie. That would be nice. Walks on the beach, private swimming, private over the water villa, romantic candlelight dinners and conversation with words with Adam Lambert. Sauli is a lucky little bastard. He had better be good to BB, otherwise ....... Hey, no devil smiley!!!! OMG, can you imagine if he is NOT good to BB?!! He will receive the wrath of 1000s of women around the world!! Yep, that would be an interesting twitter trend map. And for the BSC that take a trip to Finland.... We are looking for Boris. Yes, Boris, that it what Google translator calls the little bastard; We have a cap for his ass. On another topic, I am looking forward to seeing TV ads for the Glamnation DVD. I think it's a good strategy to promote the DVD. Adam vocals are out of this world, but vocals with visuals is his strong suit. Hopefully, they can get a TV ad during the idol telecasts.

[pokes head in] Hey guys - the old site is up again (for the next minute at least). If you want to grab anything, go NOW!! Window of opportunity could close again momentarily. I must have missed something. I thought both sites were going to remain open.

Ok you ATOP ninja's, someone earlier in the thread laughed about Adam lecturing us before Aftermath that you shouldn't be looking for love in a bar, but he met Sauli at a club. But I know there were times where he said that then paused and said well maybe you can but not usually. My question for the investigative sleuths among us is did he always say it this way or did he change that towards the end of the tour and most importantly did it change AFTER he met Sauli in November? Your mission should you choose to accept it is to analyze the evolution of the little speech to see if it did change and if that did in fact happen after he and Sauli met in November.

Hello!! Damn it's slow in Adam land, but I'm so freakin happy he is off with his hot boyfriend having a tropical vacay! He deserves a break & some time to just be happy & chill. They are so lovely together <33333
Since it's quiet, it was suggested that I post some things I learned from Adam about his voice. I posted this in the vocal masterclass thread earlier and thought others might be interested in the info:
I've had the honor of talking to him about his voice at 2 meet and greets. First was one on the idol tour in 2009 and I told him how much I loved his Upright Cabaret performances. (How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore is my favorite pre-idol performance EVER EVER EVER!!!) I mentioned how funny it was that he stopped to order dessert in the middle of his song & he lol'd and said yeah, I was a bit tipsy! He's so freaking adorable. Then I asked what he thought his range was and he said he had no idea, maybe 3 octaves - it was cute cuz he got a little shy about it. That's another thing I've noticed about him; he consistently downplays how good he technically is. And I don't think it's because he's so humble or shy, but like others and he have said - but does it sound good? Bragging about the highest or lowest notes you can hit is lame if they sound like shit! I was also very surprised to learn he can't read music. Is that normal for vocalists?
The second time I talked to him was on the GN Tour and he remembered me (OMG EMBARASSING I SWEAR I'M NORMAL AND NOT A STALKER!!!!11!!) I told him I was doing my best not to geek out and talk music theory and technique with him again and he immediately started giggling and said "I don't know shit about theory!" I told him oh, I'm sure you do and he was all "girl, I don't! I don't know shit about theory!" At this point, I'm swooning because we were bantering and I made him cuss and giggle which are two of my favorite things he does. Of course we had to wrap up so I didn't get to dive in further, but I'd love to have another chance to ask him more about his voice.
So there you have a little snippet from my m&g's from the man himself about his voice. I'd love to talk to him more about it someday. In fact, I'd love an entire interview someday from anyone with him on just his voice.

www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/2011/02/adam-lambert-is-loved-justin-bieber-not-so-much.html18th February, 2011 Adam Lambert is loved… Justin Bieber, not so muchBy Frankie Genchi "On Valentine’s Day we ran a poll asking our readers which celebrity they would love to spend the day with." "This is no surprise, of course, Adam is wonder, but what did come as a big surprise was how few votes Justin Bieber received. In a world that is riddled with Bieber Fever, we were shocked when Justin came in last."
