I'm really loving Another Lonely Night... certainly my fav of the two new tracks. #butthemoosarejustweird I'm LOVING this song, too! It intrigues me! Yes, there is a hint of "I Was Born To Love You," but there are little phrases here and there that remind me of something else... I just can't put my finger on it right now! [back to listen on repeat...]

I'm really loving Another Lonely Night... certainly my fav of the two new tracks. #butthemoosarejustweird I'm LOVING this song, too! It intrigues me! Yes, there is a hint of "I Will Always Love You," but there are little phrases here and there that remind me of something else... I just can't put my finger on it right now! [back to listen on repeat...] Do you mean "I Will Always Love You" (Dolly Parton song also sung by Whitney Houston) or "I Was Born to Love You" (Queen song)? I think there is a touch of JLo's "Waiting For Tonight" in a few parts of ALN. Adam has mentioned in an interview that WFT was one of his favorites when it came out in 1999. Where I hear the similarity is when the Hustle dance beat kicks in. By Hustle dance beat, I mean MODERN Hustle dance, not the 1970's stuff. It's more of a slower EDM beat.

Brian May: Queen would like to play Glastonbury with Adam Lambert www.theguardian.com/music/2015/may/22/queen-would-like-to-play-glastonbury-brian-may-says
Guitarist says the American Idol star who has been filling Freddie Mercury’s shoes as frontman is an ‘amazing artist’ – but they have no plans to make a record
Queen would like to play Glastonbury, Brian May has said. The guitarist was speaking at this year’s Ivor Novello awards, which took place yesterday in London, where he told Bang Showbiz the band would be interested in playing if Adam Lambert were available to join them.
“Look, these things get put on the table; it would be interesting to do Glastonbury if we were an operational unit at the time,” he said. “You see, this year Adam’s off doing his solo work at the moment so it wouldn’t have worked. You only look at things that are possible logistically at the time.”
Lambert has made a great success of standing in for the late Freddie Mercury as frontman of Queen. While the band may not have recaptured their stadium-filling status of the 1980s, they have garnered rave reviews for their arena shows. The Guardian’s review of their most recent tour noted that “this show succeeds because of Adam Lambert, not despite him. The 32-year-old has said he wants to celebrate the flamboyant, camp, gay Mercury rather than replace him, but he definitely has the Freddie factor.”
Speaking to Gigwise at the awards, May said there were no plans for Queen to enter the recording studio with Lambert. “It’s not coming along, no we’re not doing that,” he said. “Not at the moment anyway. We might do. At the moment, we’re watching with interest while Adam pursues his solo career, and it seems to be going very well. He’s an amazing, amazing artist, and there’s no getting away from that. It’s very interesting to watch him develop.
“We’re very conscious that he doesn’t want to be with us all the time – that would be so wrong, for us to just envelop him and never let him go off and do anything else,” May went on. “So it’s very important that his own career is progressing now. We’re looking forward to being back together in September to do Rock in Rio, and some dates in Argentina and Venezuela, I believe.” Lambert releases his new album The Original High next month.

Directlyrics - News @directlyrics Adam Lambert Drops Two New Songs "Another Lonely Night" & "Evil In The Night" (Listen) www.directlyrics.com/adam-lambert-two-new-songs-another-lonely-night-evil-in-the-night-news.html … pic.twitter.com/HEsumom0wI Any Adam Lambert fan in here? The American vocal powerhouse released today (May 22) not one but TWO new tracks from his forthcoming third studio album “The Original High” (out on June 16th) as the latest ‘countdown singles’ and not feeling satisfied about making them available for individual purchase on iTunes, Adam’s also uploaded the audios of both songs on VEVO for limitless stream by his fans! T.G.I.F!!! The newly-unveiled songs are: “Another Lonely Night” and “Evil in the Night”. Both tracks have the similarity that they start kind of slow but after a minute or so a faster, and energetic beat kicks in. In the case of “Another Lonely Night”, which is giving me serious Robyn vibes, the beat that kicks in is that of an electro-pop production, and in “Evil in the Night”, a song about your love partner having two complete different personalities in the day and the night, it’s a dubstep-y/drum and bass production. Both songs have major potential for amazing club remixes. If I had to pick my favorite out of these two, I’d go with “Another Lonely Night”. I just like the melody of it and of course the Robyn nostalgia. Hits or Misses?
