He shoulda picked Jared.

Holy cow! No they weren't. I can't imagine why they thought that was a good song to sing. Ce Lo picked it, didn't he? They were not up for it. Not enough technique to handle the tempo, the harmonies, or the bounce. However, Ce Lo did them no favors. The song really needs the other "sister" to make the harmony complete. I don't think it was the song. They just don't have the talent and star power IMO. My thought was Cee Lo picked a big stage production to cover the voices. It was fun and there was a lot going on. The sisters were the weak link. |

I had a feeling that he expect America will vote for one of the guy.. either way and with that scenario he definitely would Xenia. You can tell he's not liking it the fact that America vote for Dia |

Maybe this will give her more confidence and she can bring her live performance up to the calibre of her voice. i thought sure he would pick Jared. |

They didn't own it and they didn't get into the fun of it. Cee Lo is a bit retro and gets the humour in odd song choices. They are not mature enough to get it. To them, the song was just old. |

Well, I was totally underwhelmed this week. Not one performance I would pick up a phone for. The show started so strong, but I am not all that impressed by any of the vocals or performances. What happened?
Javier --- probably the best voice tonight, but, there was sooo much strain in his delivery. It was obvious in the face and in the neck. It just points out to me how unusual Adam is. It's not just range. It is approach to the notes. It is this uncanny thing he can do blending his head voice with that clear ring and his chest voice for that power, without any sign of effort or strain. Thought Javier would have the chops to do that, but he fell short. Not enough ring in his head voice to sound strong, not enough relaxation in his chest voice. A disappointment for me.
Ah, well. Back to listen to Adam sing to relax my body again.

So far we have two similar big voice woman against the two shy contestants. The team members are similar for both teams.
This show lost it's magic of the first show. What happened? Does this leave X-Factor in a good spot? Idol S10 fell short, The voice fell short. They have an opening.
I do like the Variety Show aspect of the voice.
