One of my Finnish followers called into Finnish radio show and they confirmed that Sauli will be working for them in LA as an entertainment reporter. As Mika would put it, I'm gonna be the skunk in the room. Is Sauli using Adam's connections to have access to the entertainment industry and use that access for this job, something he would otherwise not have? If he did--so what? That's how it works in the entertainment industry. In fact, success in many industries comes down to whom you know. I'm doubtful Adam has ties to a Finnish radio show and enough clout to say, "Hire my boyfriend," but I wouldn't have a problem with it if he does. My understanding is that Sauli is pretty popular in Finland and I think it's more likely that the radio station heard about his trip to L.A. and realized it would be a great opportunity for them. {{{{HUGS}}}} to Catzmadam. Smokey, I guess I don't get what's wrong with using adam's connections, at least to start with. With credentials, he will develop his own ways to get the inside scoop. Also Vappu can introduce him around. I think it's a brilliant move by the radio station. I get what you're saying, but Sauli has a definite Finnish following. (did you walk away from the house deal?)
Catz, we care. I had a scare last year and bought myself a butterfly ring afterward to signify new life! If I had any skills I would include one here for your viewing pleasure.

Hey Guys! Good Morning! sorry to be OT first and formost Been MIA most of the week, and mostly sticking with twitter, well lurking on here. Been busy, dealing with health insurance issues, and husby being gone on video shoots all last week and this week, discovering a gas leak in our oven last night :-/ (Hopefully husby will survive with out the stove/oven hehee, till we get it fixed), and now ill be gone all next week to help my mummy after her knee replacement. Hopefully i wont be MIA all next week either, it's my mini vacation, well i am helping my mum. N E Ways Catzmadam I am sending positive energy and keeping you in thoughts and prayers! RE: Sauli! YAY  for him getting a radio job and will be based here in LA :D So happy for Him and Adam. Also, since i have been MIA  to all the delurkers :D and Happy Birthday to Jackie43 and to those that i missed.  If i missed anything here, this is me flailing for what ever it may be. hehe!     ok, I think i am mostly caught up  |

He told the realtor to tell us not to dicker. We didn't, we came back with a reasonable firm counter. He failed to take into account (did offer by square footage comps only) to give credit for the third garage which he sorely wants. His basis was all homes with 2 car garages. So we said FU. |

Trust me I'm angsting over this. It would have been a good closing date and everything would have seemingly fallen into place and we could move on. My husband is really upset with the lack of good faith negotiating. The buyer is a mid-level GE engineer. Don't know if you know this, but GE trains their engineers to be ruthless, bulliers and intimidators. |

Yay, for Sauli being in LA! The way I understand it, Sauli is a very popular celebrity in Finland. I'm sure he got this job on his own credentials. But networking and working the system is the way Hollywood works. So if Adam helped, more power to him! Catzmadam! So happy you got that mammogram. Light, love and hugs coming your way!  My on-line impression of you is that you are a very strong bitch with lots of good karma around your aura, so I am positive all will go well. I think a tattoo is in order when you are fully recovered! |

From Madamimadam about the Quebec Festival:
The sets normally run between 1:30 and 2:15 depending on the artist. They don't have much information yet pertaining to Adam but here is some general information:
The Privilege Zone consists of standing room for 500 to 1000, closer to the stage, the bathrooms, and the vendors. They do NOT have a VIP section... I'm trying to convince them that this would be a GOOD thing financially for them... We'll see.
There will be large parking lots sprinkled around the event with buses going back and forth between the parking lots and the event itself.
The closest hotels to the venue (although "walkable", it is not recommended as you're on a provincial highway) are:
