Does anybody know for sure what's happened with the Q102 Ultimate Idol voting? www.q102.com/pages/ultimate-idol/index.htmlIt looks to me like they've disallowed votes (maybe the automatic voting ones), Adam is now leading with almost 70% of the votes, and you have to enter your e-mail and confirm your vote every time. Do I understand this correctly? Did they make some sort of announcement or did this just magically happen? |

Tickets on sale sometime next week, The don't have the price yet. Regular day tickets will be available. Prestige over the regular ticket will give front of stage. sold only by the Festival. Regular tickets will be sold at the Admission site.

Yay, for Sauli being in LA! The way I understand it, Sauli is a very popular celebrity in Finland. I'm sure he got this job on his own credentials. But networking and working the system is the way Hollywood works. So if Adam helped, more power to him! Well, first: This station is aiming to be bigger and more popular (--> most popular?). It has during this past half year - year gathered some of the other station's "big" names to its' staff. Also people from other fields. All very popular here on their own rights, and by their own proven work - and Sauli is just one more addition of the same kind that came handy for them to hire. Probably first for a couple of months to see how it works and how big the interest is, then...? Second: Being entertainment reporter for a Finnish radio station doesn't mean inside scoops of Adam's friends or through his connections. It's more telling us Finns what all is happening in LA or USA, what movies, theatre, gala's, fashion, what ever and what all is happening there. With his own style, insight and humour - which is popular here. Worldwide not a big deal or a big job, but a good experience, opportunity and a paid job for Sauli. And gives him a chance to stay in LA and see how the relationship with Adam develops. I want you all to know I am glad Sauli got the job and is able to stay in LA. I want Adam happy. I just wanted to generate some discussion on what all your thoughts were by playing devil's advocate. |

He is certainly qualified for it and I understand one of his friends living in LA is the entertainment reporter for another radio station. Competition never hurt anyone ;D |

Q102 knows that if Clay wins it will be a joke! ETA: Yup! I would say that is definitely what happened! Q102 is smart!
