Didn't have a chance to write yesterday as I went from the concert straight to my AirBnB and crashed! Been up since 5:30 AM The drive to NY from Pennsylvania was insane. The rain was pelting and lots of lightning as you saw in the pictures. The George Washington Bridge was like there was still a traffic problem in Fort Lee (sorry - in joke for those who know a huge scandal that happened that likely brings down the presidential aspirations of one prominent GOP contender). It really was crazy. I had made a CD of the 4 songs off TOH and a few of my other favorites so I was having the luxury for the first time of just being in my own uninterrupted space and blasting away. I did ask myself more than once if I was certifiably insane traveling to a show where I would likely be sitting in this pelting rain and listening to endless other pop stars before I heard THE VOICE. It truly was miraculous. The closer I came to Jones Beach the lighter the sky got and I arrived at the venue as Kelly was singing. Damn good think I didn't get held up more 'cause I had NO idea Adam would be coming on so early. I was way up in the front row of the upper tier with very definitely no Glamberts in sight save for one little cluster that became of evident when he took the stage. They were young!!! Everyone up there was young. With one salient exception There were no umbrellas allowed in the venue which freaked me out and I managed to smuggle a very large one in. Here age was a huge bonus. I looked so harmless that they hardly searched or glanced and me and politely moved me along. LOL. Then of course I didn't need it. The weather really held and it was such a beautiful spot. Adam was SO happy and a think a bit nervous. I about gasped at the lyric fail but knew how smoothly he would cover and no one of course would have a clue except for Glamberts. It was a big deal to unveil his songs for the first time in a big venue and the venue did fill nicely by then. Would have loved to be on the floor as no one was standing and sadly many were texting and talking except for the little group I mentioned earlier. However, that was just in my row and I was too fixed on the man on stage to look behind me. I was unperturbed and in bliss to hear that voice fill the venue. I totally love Ghost Town but have to say that EITN was stronger in person. In that one, I did see some vibrating going in in the seats around me. Don't know if there was a mention of the band, but they sounded good and got to really play in that song. Early yet for the chemistry between Adam and the band but I am sure it will come. Honestly, right after Adam I just left. I wanted to just hold that live and lively sound inside. So looking forward to this chapter in the journey and I MISSED ALL OF YOU. Wish you were there with me.

I don't know if we already had this little update re. Adam's visit in Germany?! After Shoshanna tweeted this (unfortunately not so clear!) reply to my question on Saturday ... ... she now tweeted a reply to another fan yesterday evening! So, it seems that Adam doesn't come to Germany until next week (the week from the 7th/8th to the 14th June, with a short interruption on the 10th for the recording of the TV-show in the UK), right?!

I can't get to many of them as they are so far away most of the time and I work full time and need to give a lot of notice. Thank you for the wonderful recap and for REPRESENTING the Glamberts!!!!
