6.5.15 Promo,promo,promo.....Hot Mag Cover!

The Chatty Man show was mostly fun. And Adam looked so handsome. Plus he got in some good promo with the music video and parts of the interview.

He sounded great on RTL Late Night! I don't understand that shirt, though. And some of the camera angles and close-ups were a bit weird.

The dancers helped keep up the momentum for the performance. It all seemed tighter and worked better.

Personally, I like lyrical, loose-limbed movements for the song, like Sutan does in the music video, or Terrance and other dancers, especially after the 2:30 mark in the video. More like the kind of dancing Adam himself does throughout most of it, including the spinning. It seems more like what would really be done in a club, rather than the choppy, robotic, posing kind of moves in the audition Instagram videos. Just a little taste of that peppered throughout or in part of the performance is cool, but makes it less of a "dance" song for me if it's the only kind of dancing they do. I think more free-form movement helps you see the song as something you'd want to dance to in real life, on the dance floor or bedroom floor. It'll be exciting to see Adam adapt the performance for bigger stages with more dancers.

Also, something I've noticed for years, is that sometimes when Adam tries to look fierce, it comes across to me as mean or mad. That vibe doesn't draw as many people in as his smile and can be kind of off-putting. "Ghost Town" isn't a smiley song, and he's suitably/beautifully romantic/pensive in the beginning, but I do see an angry expression now and then when he sings GT. Maybe he could go for sexy, seductive, or some kind of alternate look during other parts?
