It was the first flight from Schiphol tot Helsinki (I checked last night, but Apeldoorn is a bit to far from Amsterdam for a 2 min meet). So earlier wasn't really possible. He had a very short night sleep also since he was tweeting around 2am and got the flight from 9:55 am. Somewhere between that was sleeping, breakfast and getting to the airport as well. Although he might have stayed in an hotel close (or on) the airport. Yes, it is what it is. My observation was only based on what happens here (and why many assumed he would arrive friday or even earlier if he hadn't the RTL gig). He's the superstar and others will accommodate. And he can make it, the flight landed 25 mins ago - but he has to go directly to the venue or else they'll do a soundcheck when there are people present. That might be a good thing for us as we might get a video. But only if fans go there early which would be real dedication because the event is so lengthy. Totally speculating...  Yes, that was the reason why I thought he would be here on Thursday at first. Because the schedule would have been so tight with the program airing so late here in the Netherlands and also the time difference with Finland of an hour (negatively). Apparently he had some business in the UK on Thursday and the Netherlands was squeezed in between. Could be that the great reception Ghost Town had so far here in the Netherlands had something to do with that. It's charting on all charts now and also been high up in iTunes for at least two weeks now (dropped to 25 overall this week, but now back up! Great timing). |
