They are definitely independent contractors. This is something I realized right in the beginning. I could never understand why people thought the band should have a name when they are not a band but a group of independents. Oh I realized they are independent...and of course it is too expensive to keep a band intact for an artist like Adam. But it is still interesting to me that Adam and company/management would agree to do a concert without sorting out a few details. ..like is anyone free at that time to play for me? ...'cause I would like to have you there as you have played for me in the past and it would make it easier than hiring all new people. Monte said that even with Tommy, Warren and zander they are not all avilable to play with him in the summer time when he has gigs lined up, as they have their own things going on as well. Maybe I have a little too much A personality in me. haha While I think some fans who have become invested in the band would like it to be otherwise, I think it just underlines that as much as Adam would certainly prefer to play with the people he knows and loves working with, that they truly are only backing musicians rather than a true band and every single one of them is replaceable. I mean, we knew that already with Cam and Isaac not being the first to fill those slots, but I think the same holds for both Monte and Tommy. If for some reason they are not available, LA is full of amazingly talented musicians who with a few rehearsals could totally get up to speed on whatever set list is put together for a concert. Adam's people book the concerts for Adam, not Adam and the band as a whole. It's something to keep in mind, that as much as Adam no doubt loves his friends, he is very much a solo artist and it's best not to get too attached to the members of his backing band as they may change in the future.

Lynneville - A good dog never lasts as long as we would like and we can only cherish them as much as they deserve. They deserve the best.

It's something to keep in mind, that as much as Adam no doubt loves his friends, he is very much a solo artist and it's best not to get too attached to the members of his backing band as they may change in the future. I've been thinking about this lately and I wonder if that's a conversation he and Monte had before he went on Idol. Obvs, they were initially trying to get signed as a band, but when Adam realized he would have to do something drastic (go on Idol) there would be the possibility that he would be signed as a solo act. Which is what happened. He has always been very loyal to Monte and anyone who he has connected with in the past always gets the first call, it seems. However, if they are busy (and anyone in entertainment knows, that's the best-case scenario) you have to go to the next person on the list. I'm sure they have a roster of backup players (they would have to in case someone got sick or injured on tour or if there was some kind of emergency). I do wonder how Daughtry structured his deal though. Technically, he was getting signed, yet his situation turned into a "band." Were they signed as a band? They've always been marketed as such, so hard to believe they're not. And yes, Chunkey, Jim Cantinello has DMed me a few times. Tripped me out at first. I didn't know the follow rule either. The frustrating thing is, you can't respond. If Adam DMed me, I would keep it under wraps though. I have seen fans relate their DM experience (very few...like three) and the responses were rather innocuous, so don't know why he felt he needed to DM.

tinyurl.com/6bmmzlmLOL & OMG. This is Helsingin Sanomat, our biggest & most prestigious daily newspaper. It's a story in their monthly supplement about Swedish and Finnish marriages/relationships with famous foreigners - with conclusion that the Swedish (women) beat the Finnish ones in that field easily by numbers. Some names listed for the Swedish and some for the Finnish marriages/relationships. Of the Finnish, Sauli is named to be having the best one at the moment being the boyfriend of Adam Lambert. And the only picture of the story is Adam & Sauli. zinnia....why does the Finnish press change some of the names: Adam Lambertin, Paul Ankalla, Tiger Woodsilla, Roger Moorella and leave some as is: Geena Davis, Gregory Peck, Patrick Swayze?? Lambertin = Lambert's Ankalla = Anka has/had Woodsilla = Woods has/had Moorella = Moore has/had The names are not changed but in Finnish there are those (many - some 15 !) different endings to indicate different meanings, like in those here. That's the part of Finnish that is often most difficult to learn for foreigners. (and to Zinnia at school, I thought it is enough to be able to talk and write the language correctly & fluently without actually knowing what I was doing grammarwise . Now you know my hidden secret, don't tell anyone, LOL.)
