I am the only one who is wondering if that is Adam singing on bridge in TOH, "summertime is stuck on my mind"? It is totally fine if it isn't, reminds me of Sam Sparro and Shady, but the voice just sounds different. In TOH? I only was able to listen twice, last night, but it struck me also how different his voice sounded there. Thought maybe it was altered for effect, or it's one of those new colors of his voice that Max pulled out of him! I was thinking it might be altered and I love colors.

Just popping back in - I certainly wasn't here to rain on anyone's parade. In fact I had to go back and re-read my mini first thoughts. It wasn't a negative review at all. It's an album that most of you will love and that radio/top 40 should like But an old school rock and roll fan generally is not going to be picking this up to play. That's not a bad thing at all. There are plenty of successful artists throughout time that I respect that I wouldn't pick out to play because it's not the genre of music I enjoy and that's fine. Hell, even WITHIN the rock genre there's artists I don't really pick up to play that I respect. I respect the hell out of Black Sabbath (including one of Brian's best friends Tony Iommi) and I can listen to a few songs, but I don't own any of their albums. I respect Adam quite a bit - Personally and selfishly I want him to do a more full out rock and roll / glam rock album -- or even a theatrical piece (as I enjoy that too...which is why I'm one of the more minority of Queen fans that appreciate Brian/Kerry). Just my preference. But that's not to say he can't do a well crafted pop album - which I think TOH is. So no raining. I was trying to be positive! Sorry I failed in that You didn't at all in my book. Thanks for your well crafted honesty!

But i could be wrong. I think I read that somewhere as well. There is nothing better than Adam doing back-up vocals for Adam. :D

You made great comments from your point of view! What you said best is the part about Adam solidifying his sound - I totally agree. It's very nice to see it realized finally. Personally, I think there is a lot to hear no matter what genre you tend to prefer. Love seeing you back on the board. Reign on!

It jumped out at me right away. I could only listen twice, last night, and won't be able to listen to the album stream until Wednesday at the earliest. Can't stand the wait!!!!

Wanted to join in this exciting morning. An absolutely fantastic album. Love how his vocals are so clear, upfront. Its excellance is so consistant which makes it a cohesive work throughout. The production is so sonically interesting and tailored perfectly for each song. Stand outs to me TOH, Lucy, EITN, but love them all. What a listening treat!

It is glorious!!! And we still have the bonus tracks to come! I thought they'd changed something in the song "The Original High" when I first heard the stream, so I compared the leak of the song against the stream, in ten-second intervals, but it just turned out to be the difference in quality. The leaked version sounds much more powerful and hard-hitting to me. I'm a little confused about that because the other songs I'm familiar with sound pretty much the same on the stream as I'm accustomed to hearing them. I still love the song, though. I wish we could also play/repeat individual tracks. Took a break for the interview. Going in for my fourth listen! I thought that about TOH, it sounds more calm on the free stream to me...but yes, it could just be the quality..

I hope streaming the album from Amazon and IHeart count for charting. I have my desk top and lap top streaming. Thinking about downloading "puffin" so I can stream on my phone. Geez - will never get anything done today - Great way to spend my day!
