does anyone remember the song "There I Said It Again". Is that what you are hearing at the beginning of "There I Said It"
We haven't heard from Cassie. I hope she weighs in on the album.

Finally listening now. D.A.M.N. = TOH ... that HAS to hit the clubs. OH MY GOD. Yep -- about half this album is club-worthy. ETA: WTF is that at the end of "Things I Didn't Say"? I never heard Adam sound like that soft light high part. Perfect for super loud club play. That needs a stellar remix!!!

Well, I guess I won't be listening to TOH today. I was able to download the puffin browser and stream the album from amazon through my phone this evening, at least for a little while. But the sound kept jumping around and if I accidentally touched the phone screen it stopped and started over again. I got as far as one listen all the way up to Lucy bf I had to stop & go do something. Now I have time to listen at my leisure but the stream simply won't play.
Somethings are not meant to be, I guess. I'm only disappointed because I didn't get to digest any of the new tracks yet, can't even say whether I liked them or not. One distracted, jumpy play through of TISI, Lucy, rumours & ...one other song I can't remember right now!...on poor quality headphones while trying to make dinner & supervise homework is not enough to get a grip on anything.
:(

Up to "The Light" I must hear this live. live. live.
"I'm the moon that reflects the sun."

I am just listening now.

"I am the LIGHT"! Yes, you are, baby! This album is everything I could (but didn't) imagine. I love every single track and I've been dancing around my house like a whirling dervish for hours, but "There I Said It" makes my heart---my SOUL--flow from my chest with so much longing, regret, and fucking redemption...I can't even... I love this man and HIS music. He is brilliant and stands in no one's shadow. Not even an "iconic" rock band's and their "legendary" front man. If POP isn't your cuppa, stand aside and make more room for the rest of us to dive into this potent tank of pop-y spirits to swim and float and drink 'em up in lusty gulps...and quite possibly drown! I can die happy. After all these years, this man still surprises and amazes me. He radiates talent, ability, and creativity with such force that we (mere mortals) absorb it with such joy, process it with our own life experiences, and radiate the magic right back to each other and the Universe. That's the beauty and gift of Adam Lambert. In searching for his original high, he has lead us to rediscover our own. I'm happy to "be" with each of you today.
May the blessings of light be on you. Light without and light within.
