Not going to even look at your chart because your equations in the top are all wrong
Spins equals Spins everywhere the mediabase header just has TW LW over the spin columns Bullet (Pulse) = Move (Mediabase) Bullet+ and Spin+ are both simple calculations made daily subtracting yesterdays bullet/spins from today's bullet/spins
Charts are posted at least two or three different ways on Pulse one of which is the same as Kworb's site.

It helped me anyway.

This is what commonly gets brought over from Pulse
POP
33 30 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2025 1719 306 8.489
+8 Spins -8 Bullet -0.003 Audience
This line: 33 30 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2025 1719 306 8.489 Is a straight copy from the mediabase report on All Access 7-day rolling chart.
Here it is with the headers from All Access
lw TW Artist Title TW lw Move Aud 33 30 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2025 1719 306 8.489
The first 2 numbers are the chart positions, the two numbers after the title are the spins. The Move is the bullet. Move is the more correct term because in reality if the move is negative it is not truly a bullet because the term bullet refers only to a positive move. When you see something saying a song is not bulleted it means it has a negative move.
The remaining numbers +8 Spins -8 Bullet -0.003 Audience
Are calculations made by subtracting the previous day's spin/bullet/Audience numbers from those in the current report.
Example: today 33 30 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2025 1719 306 8.489 yesterday 33 31 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2017 1703 314 8.492 Looking at the first column of spin numbers 2025-2017= +8, 306-314= -8, 8.489-8.492= -0.003

I am way to far away from any contemplation of physics to really attempt to figure out whether the bullet itself is acceleration or velocity much less what the bullet+ is but I just wanted to correct your starting assumptions before you got everything too firmly seated in your head. Feel free to re visualize it with the corrected info.

But yesterday's spins are already on t oday's mediabase chart and today's HDD is their prediction on what today's spins will be? Fight Song had a bigger % than GT for quite a time now. It was destined to pass, was just hoping it was not before Sunday. If a song behind GT has a smaller % increase than GT does, how can it pass it?

It was destined to pass, was just hoping it was not before Sunday. If a song behind GT has a smaller % increase than GT does, how can it pass it? No HDD is reporting the week adding each day as it goes along. It is not predicting the spins ahead of time it is simply building the week. Monday report is Sunday's spins (1st day), Tuesday's report adds Monday's spins so 2 day total, Wed report adds Tues spins so 3 day total, etc until Sunday report is a full 7 day total. So it is simply a raw current week spins chart. Mediabase is a rolling chart so the total spins is always 7 days worth just as each day is added the oldest day falls off. On the 7th day the charts match. It's taken me a couple of weeks watching the chart to be sure what is happening and there are errors in it sometimes. For instance last week for some reason it completely zeroed the spins for the Andy Grammer song in the current week and didn't fix itself until the end of the week I think so I wouldn't bother archiving it or as I said posting position numbers from it. I am learning to use the raw spin information to fine tune the analysis of what is happening with the songs. The raw spin data did show Fight Song passing in current spins before the rolling chart did and it looks like the same is happening with the FOB song. We'll see how the week shakes out but I am not really up on what other syndicated spins GT might add this week as it already had the AT40 chart last week whereas FOB's song is just now making the AT40 chart so it is obviously picking up more syndicated shows making for a strong update tonight for it. ETA: On the HDD chart the percentages today bear no relation to the percentages yesterday it's just a calculation of the % change from lw to tw so a good day will show a good % and a bad day lower but it doesn't tell you anything about the week as a whole.

Just checked the AT40 thread at Pulse. FOB will also be getting spins this weekend. SNOL will be very important tonight for GT!

This is exactly why I raise this question this morning. I also have noticed that the raw spins seem like a good predictor.
