Being a newbie, I have no feel at all for how 150 adds stacks up. Is that respectable? More than respectable? Less than respectable? In a way I guess it doesn't matter as much as total spins and he is really picking up. We thought FOB might pass him but GT ratcheted it up with all the syndicated spins this weekend. Maybe it will drop but I really do sense momentum. Its position is great now on the playlists of Z-100 and Kiss. He is all over Fresh 102.7 as they play GT every time they are ready to do a ticket giveaway (no, I haven't gotten any yet). Even in the euphoria of the album streaming, I stay very excited about how well GT is doing. Wise wise choice Adam! Savvy Guy! |

No one really commented on that huge spin increase on CHR +115 Are we nervous about tomorrow? No, that increase is based on last weeks spins. This week he got a bunch of spins on SNL and spins also on AT40. Tomorrow's spin + or - will be based on spin count 7 days ago. |

No one really commented on that huge spin increase on CHR +115 Are we nervous about tomorrow? The big spin increase was due to the AT40 Subway Buzz spin. But tomorrow could be good as well as there have been reports that GT jumped about 15 spots higher on Z100 & KIIS LA's playlists today so it could be that the stations are going to kick it in to higher gear leading up to release date. |

Update on this discussion from yesterday about CHR. The good news is that GT had an update almost 3 times bigger than FOB's, so he's opened up the spin lead a bit there. Bad news is Ariana's drop slowed even more down to -762. Brit dropped a little faster at -424 and Carly Rae was also only slightly faster drop. The only way these songs are within reach this week is if GT's bullet doubles or triples as it looks like all of these songs will still be in the 2400 spin range and with GT's current bullet it will only make it to 2000 or so by the end of the week.

Adam has 90 CHR/Pop adds so he has about half. However, spins are more important than adds, so more may be playing GT than 90 stations. And some stations (like Cumulus) rarely add and play songs until they get to top 20 on the Pop chart. For the HAC chart there are 144 Mediabase panel stations. Adam has 59/60 adds so he has less than half. This may pick up when the album promo hits. GT really is a Pop song and may take a little time to work its way up. However, GT is doing amazing well in the 5/6 weeks it has been out. Don't worry!! |

ETA: It's looking better for Brit's song to drop below GT on CHR this week but Carly Rae is still iffy and Ariana is still out of reach at the current rate. But if GT's bullet continues to rise throughout the week then Carly's song will be easier to pass. Ariana's song is still a long shot.
